The great thing is getting daily emails with very useful information such as idle resources spend, how to optimzie current resources all in a very easy to read and understandable format

My only issue would be if the email reports could come additional as a PDF attachment as well as the inline information so it can be sent off to other people as well

Metricly makes it very easy to integrate into your systems. Even for our application servers we can have an additional layer of metrics that give us insights to the main language we build our apps in. Also - we pretty much paid for our account our first year by using Metricly to determine where we were overpowered.

Some of the metrics are 'intelligent' as they have a way of calculating a baseline. This took a bit to get used to as this is a proprietary feature that is quite useful. So not really a dislike, but more of something to get used to.

If you have any questions their team is awesome and friendly. Even the sales team was very good - not too buggy.

We use a cloud provider for the majority of our infrastructure. The provider gives us metrics but we wanted to aggregate them all into one view. Metricly allowed us to do so. But more importantly, we also got deeper insight into our infrastructure.

The machine learning built into Metricly is their killer feature. Since it's monitoring your infrastructure at several layers, it can let you know when specific things are not normal. This is way more useful than normal monitoring tools which require you to predefine what normal is.

The UI has a few rough edges and performance issues with large inventories, but they continually improve this and are responsive to suggestions.

Metricly lets us quickly identify problems that need attention and unlike all of the other tools we use, does not send us false positives. Metricly also has many cost analysis tools which allow us to identify areas of savings that no other tool has been able to identify. You can use these tools against operating system level metrics so it's infinitely more useful than what AWS provides out of the box.

Virtana gives you a solid platform for interrupting your AWS bill. It has very to read graphs that help you pinpoint where your spending is going and how to find unused resources. My rep is very sensitive to my needs and makes sure any issues get addressed in a timely manner.

Their old platform had some room for improvements in the UX area. Much happier with the new platform.

It really helps with unused resources like Idle EBS or ELB's. Let me share reports with our Dev team to show them potential cost savings. It has really let us find saving using our backup procedures

The way VIRATANA is using the Algorithm to show the desired output of our idle resource and right-sizing servers. By VIRTANA platform is always helpful for your company to save unnecessary money for those resources which even we don't know.

I don't think I dislike anything about VIRTANA because of the way VIRTANA corrects or makes the tool more helpful by taking the feedback. Working in the right direction after taking the feedback from clients is always makes VIRTANA better.
