I love that it keeps our customer data in our own systems and behind our firewalls. Enhanced security and privacy are huge factors for us. It also allows greater flexibility with that data - we can integrate it with our existing data architecture. The dynamic content and personalization options are also huge benefits for us.
Most of the issues we have aren't necessarily the fault of MessageGears as a platform itself but rather our implementation or the way we've set it up. Having all the connections to internal infrastructure can be a double-edged sword.

High volume email message sending
The customer service and team we work with are truly the best. Very attentive, very eager to assist and have been the best part of working with them - from the sales team to the account team.
It's not as much of a dislike and more of an opportunity - the UI is not as 'marketer' friendly as some of the other UIs I've seen. It's very easy for our IT team to get into the tool and use - a little less intuitive for marketers without a lot of technical background.
We are solving data problems - being able to own and keep all of our data has been really efficient for our team.
Product itself and ability to expand/incorporate new features based on the client requirement.
Support Staff is awesome and response time is very fast. Always available for working session on the questions, issues, account setup and new feature onboarding.
Initially the company i worked for is one of big and new client for MessageGear and at the time, MessageGears is new in the market. so needed a good documentation and over the time it has been improved great.

Transparency with End-to-End system. Like the status, efficiency and feed back loop. with earlier vendor, we were on the dark side on what's happening with delivery, success rate and whther we are missing feedback data, etc. with MessageGears, that problem was gone as we have direct visibility into all of these monitoring and processing feedback data in real time. it also utilizes latest technologies, which makes client easier to work with.
The real-time syncing of recipients is so much more advanced than having to upload a list and watch it get out of sync as it uploads.
It used to be templates and some bugs with that area, but much has been corrected.
Different ways we are able to use Freemarker to interact with our own data and provide custom integrations.
Message Gears provide a plethora of tools and features which help us manage and automate email delivery. This is taken a lot of overhead out of our daily work as we don't have to maintain our own email servers and template management tool.
Their main interface application cannot autoscale, so we are still facing challenges around high volume sends.
MessageGears are our primary email service provider. they also provide real-time analytical data for all our deliveries.
I like the ease of use and connecting to the tool and once connected the capability of testing emails on all devices and all versions.
If you have complicated segmentation it is a bit limited but other than that there are more pros than cons!
Using as a connection to GCP
The message gears team is very responsive, and provide extensive support whenever necessary. The cloud solutions and analytics they provide are very good
Their accelerator app does not scale very well
Using MessageGears takes the stress away from keeping our own Email Servers and analytics as they provide the complete solution.
I love the Portal. Would like it to be a bit faster, but it is very easy to use and descriptive. Also, the Support team is always on-point and super helpful.
The design could be a bit more modern looking.
Here I can check all the emails sent by our services and dig deeper on email events, etc.
