MentorcliQ has automated our program's follow-up and touch points with the scheduled communications and tasks. It also provides additional structure to the program that we didn't have before. The data and analytics that come from using the platform have been a tremendous help when it comes to presenting the benefits and ROI of our program to our leadership team.
There are no downsides! The MentorcliQ team has been extremely helpful and has provided great ideas and strategies to improve our program. I wish we had more time to visit with them, but that is a limitation on our end. They are available whenever we need to jump on a call, and we always look forward to the quarterly mentoring reviews.
MentorcliQ has an option for automated matching which is helpful as our organization grows. MentorcliQ also eliminates a lot of the administrative work that goes into a mentor program such as following up with participants, check-ins, and feedback. It allows us to spend time focusing on other aspects of the program and we've been able to expand the program as a result.
What I like the best is the easy-to-use platform. It is user-friendly for both participants and administrators, but also "smart" enough to make things easy to manage!
I can't think of anything I disliked about working with MentorcliQ.
They are providing a platform that puts mentoring in the hands of the employee. That benefits the organization because then employees have a say in who their mentoring partner is.
MentorcliQ's professional support is excellent, and is a tremendous help as we manage our mentoring process as one of many initiatives. They are always willing to provide ideas to support a mentoring event, or a management presentation.
We are just transitioning from the River platform to MentorcliQ; and are excited about new options. So, no downside at this point. Thankfully, some of the River associates have joined MentorcliQ.
We have new associates, and many that still work from home, or remotely; so MentorcliQ is a great way to connect associates, in a personal and value-added way.
MentorcliQ has helped the Anchorage School District completely overhaul our mentor program. Because of MentorcliQ, we can create meaningful mentor matches for our new educators, usually before the first day of school! This means that our new educators are getting the support they need to be and feel successful, which means that our students are getting the education they deserve.
We couldn't be successful without the most amazing MentorcliQ support team. They are available not only to help troubleshoot any issues that come up day to day but also serve as partners who continually help us make the mentor program better.
Nothing that's been a deal-breaker. But I wish there was a better connection between programs or a single welcome page for all mentoring programs where we could post information.
Before MentorcliQ, we had to manually match our mentors and mentees using spreadsheets and emails. This could take days to do. Now, not only are our matches made quickly with automated notification and communication, but MentorcliQ also gives us the power to make sure our mentor/mentee matches are meaninful.
The MentorcliQ platform provides a ton of flexibility to manage programs in a way that works for our organization. Some of our programs are designed to be high-touch, which MentorCliq can easily support. However, the platform can also support programs designed to be low-touch with automated communications, surveys, and notices to keep mentorships on the right track. This has been invaluable for us in scaling mentorship programs that existed before we started working with MentorcliQ.
In addition, our success coach is a great partner to our company and provides valuable advice and guidance from his years of experience with mentoring and passion for the subject area. It's great to have such a great platform paired with such valuable expert advice.
The UI for the MentorcliQ platform is not as "slick" as some other platforms, but we've seen some significant improvements and investments in this area over the last couple of years. When we do have feedback, our success coach partners with us on multiple options, whether that includes custom coding for new functionality or design ideas for programmatic support.
We've been working with MentorcliQ for over two years now. In that time, we've piloted and launched a global mentorship program to connect associates across our organization. Our most recent global cycle has included over 600 mentor and mentee pairs, and we are looking to expand into a technical mentorship program this calendar year. It's complex work, but MentorcliQ's technology makes managing many programs at once incredibly easy for my team's program administrator.
The customer service. I can call or email my support team at any time and they respond promptly. They are easy to work with and help us shine. I also value the ease of use as a Program Manager. The reporting features make it easy to demonstrate that our cohorts are engaged and working toward goals. The dashboard is easy to interpret and downloading reports, graphs, survey results is easy. And finally, as a Mentor, I'm enjoying the experience, tools, and time with my mentee. The matching algorythm is phenomenal, too.
Honestly, I cannot think of anything about the program, platform, or resources that has let me down. Over the last 10 months MentorCliq has made some amazing improvements - the user enhancements make the dashboard for me (program manager) and me (mentor) and my cohorts even more friendly. At the beginning, I was hoping for more depth in the resources available for users - but last year, they beefed up the articles, videos, TED recommendations, and look and functionality. I feel like they're intuitively making updates that align with any small improvements I feel would make a difference.
We are seeing that our participants are feeling listened to; they are connecting with leaders, growing their networks, earning new and bigger assignments. The are getting the career, relationship, communication, and technical guidance they crave. During COVID it was an even bigger advantage - because working from home left many feeling isolated. I'm regularly receiving feedback from our Mentors that they're getting just as much out of the relationship as their mentee is.
I love the support that MentorcliQ provides with their quarterly reviews and their team is always accessible if you have any questions or needs in the meantime. Their platform is so easy to use and customize to your exact program needs.
I really have not encountered anything that I don't like
We are able to connect team members across the organization in different departments, teams and geographical locations. We have seen an increase in mentoring relationships and individual development.
The team at MentorcliQ are some of the most helpful, intelligent, personable folks I've ever had the pleasure of working with--either inside my industry or without. The platform itself is remarkable, and has helped us record THOUSANDS of hours of conversation and open up AMAZING opportunities for colleagues. It's such a great service that we have multiple divisions opening up MentorcliQ instances, with the eventual hope that we merge into a global, singular instance. The training and resources for mentors/ mentees (regardless of previous mentoring experience) is such a game changer, too.
Time zone difference (CA to OH)--it's really negligible, though. ZERO complaints.
We've begun to connect the dots to really activating internal mobility--letting career aspirations come to life, breaking down silos, etc. We're now moving into DEI territory to help our under-represented groups gain visibility!

Currently the reporting/analytics is in their dashboard, and it's a bit of a manual process to expoer the data into Microsoft Power BI which is where we have our Talent Management Analytics Dashboards across all of our other culture of career programs.
I'm excited to be able to in the future to integrate our MentorcliQ Data to our Microsoft Power BI dashboard in less of a manual way, and accelerate automation for the rest of the program.
