I worked as data scientist in fintech industry. Briefly in MarTech company and currently in e-commerce, where I have an opportunity to work with Meiro Platform. Because of my background, I consider following areas to be most exciting, when using Meiro
- flexibility (You do not like reporting in Meiro? - You can transfer it to power BI. You collect a lot of events into CDP and therefore you increase cost of platform? Define retency of events.)
- support team (They have a team of professionals that make onboarding smooth for colleagues in company. They respond quickly on questions. They provide a great guidance and I can honestly say that their knowledge in area of personalization and CDP comes from huge experience.)
- low onboarding costs (I think this is unparalleled in comparison to other platforms. You can produce triggers or scenarios within platform in very quick time - days in comparison to weeks in other.)
- intuitive UI (This is mostly appreciated for me. A lot of stuff can be learned by going over the documentation. Within reasonable time, you can have really deep understanding of overall platform capabilities. To be honest, very few platforms in area of CDP)
- SQL, python, R (I really appreciate that the core of the platform are technologies that are widely used among data scientists and data analytists. I do not like platform, where users need to learn new query language suitable only for specific platform.)
- accesible for broad audience (for marketeers, engineers, analysts, project managers, managers, developers)
- Meiro Integrations (MI) and Meiro Business Explorer (MBE) (Meiro platform cosists of two products. MI - powerful ETL based product nicely build around key technologies like SQL, python and R. MBE - product for marketeers, data analysts and project managers. I really appreciate how they split it. You can really nicely control rights and accesses to various platform functionalities.)
If I am thinking about CDP topic and about how it should look like within the company, I truly believe that Meiro and their platform is so called benchmark.
Meiro is quite young company and therefore in this stage, there is not a big community of users - so that you can ask a question and get some answers.
