The most helpfull feature of Megaventory is the ability to fully integrate your sales and manufacturing business with minimum infrastructure. Everything is cloud based and all you need is to learn the system and apply it to your business. No matter how small your business is, it will give you the MRP system capacity of large companies at a price you can afford when building a start-up.

There is no features that is not well thought of. Once you understand the system and how you can configure it, you will understand how it beats large ERP systems that requires professional staff and consultants to make updates and run testing. With Megaventory, you make the changes you want and you are running.

Implementing and running an MRP system capacity in Mexico with staff that never had any experience with integrated business system. This gives us a competitive edge over the local practices and enables us to grow and trading people quickly because the system is simple and practical.

We've used Megaventory for many years and it keeps getting better with each new version. It has all the features we need as a small business with hundreds of SKUs. We find the serial # function to be really essential for tracking our finished goods. The UI is easy to navigate and it's generally easy to figure out how to use new features without viewing the online help. While none of our employees are formally educated in inventory management we all are able to use it successfully. Whenever we run into the rare bug, Megaventory is very quick to respond and resolve it.

While functional and relatively easy to navigate the UI is a bit clunky / outdated. They could probably benefit from having a dedicated UI / human factors designer. For example, when searching inventory it's not that obvious that you may be filtering based on inventory location.

We are able to precisely track our inventory with staff not trained in this area.

What I like the best is that only a few filed are required when defining products, suppliers and categories. However a plenty optional ones are available. This makes the system flexible for small startups and bigger companies. We save time with this system and make the work done.

what is missing still is an integration with Shopify

We control well the stock of our components so we can react when we get in short with parts for manufacturing of our products.

The software's ability to keep in mind that even if I haven't received an item, it can still be accounted for and reserved for a customer.

Also, the localization options are the best I've seen in any software, you can literally change any section to use the phrasing that best suits your organization.

The UI used to be a bit old style but it's been renewed in the last couple months and it looks great now!

Make sure you understand the interactions with Quickbooks before doing the initial sync, as quickbooks is not very forgiving is anything is configured in the wrong way. Talk to the MV support team and they'll get you sorted out.

Limited in crossing over multiple numbers of the same item from one supplier.

Mobility, simple to use, and can be linked to financial software.

The APIs, I can create a script that will automated and extend the inventory system of the megaventory.

For us, after 4 years is the best and most versatile stock management system! Having everything in the cloud we dont care about backups :-)

Having a cloud based system that can do your job without problems and drawbacks is the best thing to happen for someone who needs a stock/invoice/ordering system. Megaventory helps us quote/order/sale and support our systems in the best price!

The possibility to manage your inventory with effectiveness and accountability, you can make every movement, add new products, make a sales quotation, make it into a sales order, generate invoices, add tracking numbers, dates and add a lot of useful information for your business.

Sometimes it has its limitations, like when you want to sort your sales by sku's rather than clients, date or sales orders. Nevertheless, the crew behind Megaventory will always try to find a way to help you with any trouble you find within the platform.

Give it a try, it's a very good tool and I think it's improving.
