The ability to embed meeting times within my email without leaving my inbox, or having to fiddle with a browser plug-in. The Gmail add-on was also extremely convenient, making it simple to make minimal or more detailed changes to the event being proposed to clients. I also loved the seamless integration with my google calendar.
That my clients weren’t scheduling meetings with it- they would click and then drop off before the meeting was finalized and set. The user interface after clicking wasn’t the most intuitive, and I wish the UX was more cognizant of users across various demographics, not just tech savvy end-users. I also did not enjoy how many clicks had to be taken in order to insert meeting times into an email, the solution is designed to reduce the amount of time wasted scheduling meeting via email, so removal of redundant click paths would contribute to that purpose and goal.
Make sure your client is the appropriate end-user who will maximize the efficiency of this tool end-to-end. Also take the time to set up your meeting types and meeting schedules before diving into your workflow.
I realized the inefficient and tedious process that goes into attempting to schedule a meeting via email volleys, and meetingbird soughts to resolve that. I personally didn’t get to resolve this issue using meetingbird, as my clients didn’t optimize the meeting slots embedded into the email, but the vision is there. Through meetingbird- I also was enlighten that fancy solutions doesn’t necessarily mean you’re solving the problem; the experience needs to make the end-users life easier or else it will not be utilized as designed.
Meetingbird is incredibly easy to use and helps me schedule my time very easily. I do tech support for about 50 users, and they are able to click on my Meetingbird link in my email signature and quickly put themselves on my calendar for one-on-one assistance.
I cannot think of anything that I dislike about Meetingbird. The setup initially can be a little confusing, but if you read the documentation, it is not difficult.
My main advice to a new user would be to follow all of the recommendations and customize it to match your brand- it makes a difference in how professional it looks to those viewing your page. Personally, I am able to get full functionality from it for my needs using the free version, which is a great bonus! Compare to other services (even paid ones) to be sure that you are getting all that you need for your particular scenario.
I am able to add a clickable link in my email signature to my Meetingbird page. This allows fellow staff members to put themselves on my calendar without having to back and forth looking at days and times for availability. I created a specific Meetingbird link for one-on-one meetings, and it syncs with my calendar to allow for others to add themselves without my approval without double-booking my time. The biggest benefit has been time management.
Scheduling automation at its finest. Love the Zoom integration.
Wish it would better interfere across Safari interfaces.
Scheduling automation saves me so much time in the day. No more back and forths trying to schedule a time with prospects and others.
My company uses Zoom for meetings and Meetingbird allows for easy integration when customizing your scheduling link. For example, whenever I am scheduling a call with a client, I simply share my custom schedule URL with my Zoom meeting information to easily create one workflow process without having to do them separately.
I had actually learned about Meetingbird from one of my own clients who had included a calendar with his schedule right into the body of the email. I had no idea how he did that and later found it was a premium option. I think that is a great feature without having folks to go to an external URL to schedule meeting, however I think this simple but convenient option should be included under the free plan.
If you need a quick and simple solution to automate how you schedule meetings with peers and friends, this is great!
I no longer have to look into my Google calendar to check my availability anymore. I just let Meetingbird do it all for me and send me reminders. All I have to do is share my unique scheduling URL with anyone who wants to schedule a meeting and connect my Zoom information along with it!
