I love that the franchisees can now find everything they need quickly. I love that I can visually see 200 assets at time. I love that the artificial intelligence, keywords, and categories make it easy to find everything I need. And I especially love the branded portals so I can curate the assets for the needs of the franchisees each quarter. Working with Marketing Firms is easier. Working with our Europe branches is easier. So many of the things that took an hour here and an hour there are eliminated. We would have never been able to hit deadlines after covid hit and our labor was drastically cut if we had not already created our DAM with Media Valet.
I wish I could choose how the categories are listed and not require an alphanumeric system—using a number before the category has been a simple workaround.
But it has worked great.
This is one of the best decisions we made. Media Valet's DAM helped us through the critical pandemic time even on a reduced creative team. It has improved the franchisees experience and their perception of the service the marketing department gives them. The DAM was a win for everyone: us, franchisees, media buyers, international operations, and the creative video creation teams.
We used to spend a lot of time finding assets for franchisees and media buyers. We also got requests to make the same changes to a promotion over and over again. Different members of the team would get the request and not know someone else already made that alteration. So we repeated a lot of work. And franchisees were often frustrated that they would have to wait a few days to get the material they needed. There were so many phone calls and email request us to find and make the quick change they needed. It was difficult to have time to do the real creative work that needed to be done.
Thankfully, we purchased into the system in October so by March Media Valet was completely up and functional. When covid-19 hit an our hours were drastically reduced we were able to meet demand by creating ahead of time what we thought the franchisee would need and put them in a curated portal for just that brand's covid response assets. The franchisees could look quickly at what was already created and then ask for a word or two be changed for their situation. With over 6000 assets created during that 45 day period, we were able to give every franchisee what they needed.
MediaValet's intuitive UX makes it easy to find and share assets as I need. The AI is actually very accurate and works really well with the other metadata pieces. The onboarding manager and customer success manager I've worked with have been fantastic, making the migration process super easy. Furthermore, they help with long term planning and offer lots of tips and tricks which have aided my teams wworkflow immensely.
The lightboxes could be developed a little bit more to aid with collaboration of my team.
It enables me to easily find my photos and videos and share them with my team and partners. Our DropBox was extremely large and so it was extremely difficult to find what we needed, particularly because there could be versions living in different folders. MediaValet has changed the game for our team thanks to its version control. The connectors into Adobe work really well too and have helped our creatives.
Easy of browsing, the convenience of creating portals, and great features. I frequently use the platform and it is so easy to implement all of the images I would like to use into a portal. MediaValet seamlessly integrates into my work. Best of all, if I have any issues the customer support team is so helpful!

MediaValet allows me to quickly and easily provide photo assets to users within my organization. With an incredible search function and the new AI face recognition it's even more user friendly, allowing much more accurate results for our users.
I did have an issue recently where our data base went down, we didn't lose any assets but it did require some techsupport and it took about a week for MediaValet to restore our assets. However, our rep was very helpful and everything was fully restored.
MediaValet has helped in how we share assets within the University. We're more in control of the assets that can be used by internal and external partners. It's much more of a refined and complete approach.

I like the ability to quickly search content, and the user-friendly interface that doesn't require training to understand. The categories and filters are useful, and the ability to reate lightboxes and follow content for changes is a fantastic feature.
Editing materials with PrintUI can be time consuming, and there is no option to save the edited copy of the template. If the user mistakenly exits the PrintUI window, the changes to the template are lost.
I'm on the user end, but I have extensive background leading Learning & Development teams and heading asset management for large start-up companies. Many LMS vendors attempt to sell asset management solutions, but fall incredibly short on both the user and administrator end. I appreciate that Media Valet solves the version issue well for both user and administrator.

Our sales team has complete access to all of our marketimng collateral right from their phones and can e mail directly to their customers. We keep everything from drawings, specifications, photos, brochures, animations and powerpoint presentations on the platform. It is extremely easy to start using and implementation was a breeze. It is used by our team daily. As an administraor I enjoy the fact that customer support is excellent and we recently used the bulk uploader tool that really sped up the process of adding large numbers of documents to the portal.
There is nothing about Media Valet I dislike. The screens are clean and easy to use. The menu tree on the left is basic and self explanatory. Some users may feel it could be a bit more "flashy" but that is not a concern for me.
Media Valet helps us get up to date material into an easily accesible acces point to our entire sales team. It allows them to eliminate storing dated material on their laptops, ensuring that everything they use is current.
