MediaBank worked really well to house, and organize images for one clients who would had multiple high resolution images that would be used many times throughout the year.

I had a client who has many images for different models of lawn mowers. Their in house staff used the the low resolution images so when the file came to me, the printer, I had to find the high resolution images. Mediabank helped in finding and accessing files quickly while organizing and housing multiple images

From a system administration standpoint, the system has relatively little downtime, and system problems do seem to be addressed, since there have been several upgrades made available.

Sometimes one of the Windows services needs to be restarted for the site to perform properly, however this is infrequent. Perhaps some more user-friendly errors or messages could be shown to the user when he/she sees part of the service down.

When a lot of content is on the platform it can be messy and confusing. A lot of files in the homepage, I think having more workspaces will help a lot. Also when a lot of users are using mediabank at the same time the ingest and delivery process can be slow.

Fill more metadata and info as you can, this will help to save time on the search process. Also try to choose the media to ingest instead to upload everything in the system as it can be messy and confusing and it could slow your search and editing process.

It helped to speed the ingest process of the content. Also the content management part was really good and the preset search was really appreciate by everyone.

MediaBank metadata can be customized to suit the needs of your organization. This way you can tag content for faster searching on terms your users will be entering. You can also organize content by persona that lead this software to do more than what you would expect of typical DAM software.

MediaBank can be integrated with other technology processes to create media versions as needed be a data source to update resource availability on websites or apps.

Depending on the organizational structure that has been set up for the company using MediaBank, using the standalone software is cumbersome while trying to navigate through. You will have several windows open as you navigate through and attempt to search areas with trial and error to use the features and customization in place.

Be sure to have internal processes in place to guide users through naming resources adequately and consistently.

Large assets need a central repository for access and management for teams. This software suits that if you have the patients to learn the workflow and put in the forethought to organize your content for efficient management.

Using MediaBank has helped us limit the asset redundancy found in teams that use alternatives. We have saved time by allowing internal users to search for existing media before attempting to re-upload resources.

It organizes things fairly easily making it easy to navigate through the software.

You have to sometimes manipulate the program to work in your favor for very simple solutions.

in comparison to DDS, the interface is more user friendly and allows for more personalizing and multi-tasking.

the media bank software is not very intuitive and there tend to be a lot of delays. the are tons of updates that happen but never seem to notice any real change so it seems like we are kicked out of the software for no real reason.

there are a lot of steps involved for most things broadcast related. if there is any way to streamlien processes, that would be beneficial.

Media Bank is used primarily for budgeting and billing for my client. we track billing for print, out of home and broadcast opportunities. what is nice is the ability to look at historical information and the opportunity to export information easily into excel or PDF format.

It is pretty simple to use continuously once you get the hang of it. There are tutorials available as well that make it easier to navigate.

Sometimes it does seem overly complicated. If there was a way to simplify it, or to enter information in bathes as opposed to separately each time, it would be more efficient.

Take notes on how to complete various tasks, take the tutorials, and don't be afraid to reach out to their technical support.

I like that it is user friendly and can be navigated easily through the menu bar. It is very easy once you are trained in it to use the planning and buying functions.

I dislike that it can be confusing to find things back, and the folder structures can get overwhelming/tedious to manage.

Great tool for file management/storage.
