i do not fill any dislike about matillion the problem which trying to solve matillion is very massive in ongoing busniess. Also they provide end to end customer service which most requierd and important for business.

Matillion is coming with solution of data etl which is most important for data in current busniesses. they provide connection facility which help to connect any data source to get data.

I love Matillion because by use of it, it provides results in an efficient way and what makes it stand out from its competitors is affordability and agility in terms of implementation. It has been of great help when it comes to ETL tools management and the technical support team is accommodating and very helpful.

The only thing I miss in Matillion is the ability for users to directly upload files such as CSV or Excel from their local desktop computers to the application.

The best thing about Matillion is that they are incredibly easy for business users to learn and adapt even if they have no coding skills. Finally I'm grateful that an application is there which uses the power of DataBricks though you don't have to write lines of code. It is very easy to use and no training is needed.

Matillion is the greatest of all times cloud data integration platform i have ever encountered. I like how it can perform fast data transfer when the files are available in the cloud and since it's cloud-based we can take advantage of all the available cloud tools. Additionally, i love the fact that charges are based on Pay as you go thus allowing you to pay for what you need/use. The drag and drop functionality increases the ease of use thus saving much time.

One of the challenges is that when it comes to Legacy systems, few connectors doesn't work as expected. Apart from this, nothing much to mention that requires improvement.

One feature that I still miss in the Matillion ETL and the Data Productivity Cloud is the ability for users to directly upload files such as excel or csv from their local desktop computers to the platform. I am aware customers can upload them to a cloud stage such as a bucket on S3, but that solution is not as simple or user-friendly for business users.

Other cloud platforms, such as Sigma and Trifacta, allow users to upload local files and temporarily store them on the platform instance. I'm not sure how that works in detail on the backend, but I feel it's worthwhile for the Matillion team to undertake some benchmarking with these other technologies to find a method to accomplish the same. This will bring in even more business users.

Note: Could the platform administrator configure a universal cloud stage so that when users try to upload files from local, they actually upload to this stage and the Matillion platform reads from there?
