Nothing in particular but better options are popping up in the market so there is a stiff competition in asset discovery market now

Importing is pretty straightforward, and various options like bar code or CSV are provided.

These features make it hassle-free and one place to view/update the asset information.

Compliance information is reactive where it's gathered, but somewhat prohibitive measures we can take would be extraordinary if added as features on top of add-ons.

Dashboards, alerts, and quick view help to gather, storm during milestones and act accordingly avoiding any last-minute rush but a planned way.

What we have loved about this program is without a doubt the excellent and very intuitive interface that makes our experience with ManageEngine Asset Explorer much easier. We have been using this program for many years to manage our company, and the results have been a success thanks to this program's enormous storage and interaction. ManageEngine Asset Explorer was a lifesaver because of the way it is applied and how I can copy and archive each file, the interface of this program has constantly helped me to use it better and better and take advantage of each of the abilities it has this program.

One of the negative scenarios that is constantly repeated with this program is the interaction I have with customer service; this aspect leaves a lot to be desired. It is true that this program can be a bit messy and overwhelming in its first steps, there are many functions, particularly for handling passwords that are not well defined or their function is simply not well explained. The installation of this program and achieving each of the parameters presented in the installation process are a nuisance for each user.

I always recommend ManageEngine Asset Explorer for the security that this software transmits in addition to the good integration it has in our work due to its notifications and ways of managing and browsing, it is totally efficient and solid to protect our data, it is worth trusting this program to manage our passwords and have better control in our work area. Without a doubt ManageEngine Asset Explorer integrates easily into my work thanks to an interface that understands my needs and presents me with a myriad of valuable tools and privileges for my business.

The best thing about this tool is that it integrates perfectly with Service Desk Plus for automatic asset management, obtaining useful information about the systems you have within the environment.

what I don't like is that for the newer versions of Service Desk Plus from Manage Engine its use was discontinued and you have to opt for tools like Desktop Central from the manufacturer Manage Engine

Its web-based and quite easy to manage and discover the assets through out the network.

As such no dislikes, but there is a room for enhancements in the results. There should be a way to extract the result of history record of each asset and owner relationship.

It is recommended for small to meduim size organizations to use ME Asset Explorer to get detailed and required info of all the Assets.

It gives a clear picture of all the assets that are in the network. All servers and workstations with complete specs, installed softwares, user login information all in front of you at a single place at portal.

Asset Manageengine Explorer best feature is to sync and gather all information on finger tips like

You can check last login, Hardware change history, and software that installed at client end

Their is an issue... and issue is that your active items like Desktop computer & laptop merge each other

This is one of the best ITAM tool that's affordable and easy to use

It auto-detects most of the assets. It helps a lot with license management.

Needs lots of customization in the beginning. Add-ons are a bit expensive

Managing licenses is the biggest issue we face and this Asset explorer keeps good track of it and alerts us on time.
