MadMimi makes it easy to create attractive promotional emails. The way they handle bounced email addresses is much easier than it was when we used Constant Contact. Their customer service is quick and very responsive. We also love that they don't seem like a huge company where we are just a number to them.

We are on the west coast and they are on the east coast so this has been inconvenient for us a few times when we needed help in the afternoon, but not a big deal overall.

Madmimi is so easy to get an email to our users set up. It's very easy to create template, add in what you need, and you can even add in images and gifs. We can present beautiful emails to our users. I also like that it allows us to create an html template and use that instead. It's very easy to create user lists and include/exclude as needed, and you can set up campaigns to periodically email a target audience. I also like how it detects duplicates when importing emails and allows a second send to those who haven't opened the email in a certain amount of time.

I keep finding more things I love about this. How you can quickly unsend an email in a certain amount of time after sending and how you can see who opened and clicked in your emails are great features.

I wish you could add video to madmimi. Also, the templates are very linear. There's only so many ways you can customize even though it looks great. You also can't use custome fonts or font sizes.

I would consider this if you need to keep track of multiple lists, would like to set up campaign emails, and just want ease of mind getting communication out.

Being able to keep track of different target audiences and create email lists. I'm able to get things out quickly to our users without having to think to much except the content of the email.

subscriber lists, campaigns based on tags and various other filters makes it much simpler to send blast campaign.

It was so straightforward and intuitive to use.

You just have to be extra careful (as you would with any tool) to make sure the codes are uploaded correctly. For example, if you are hoping to pull a first name or last name... TEST, TEST, and RE-TEST.

If you need a tool to send out e-blast campaigns, that is super intuitive and allows for lots of customizing in your emails... Mad Mimi was great!

Mad Mimi is an easy to use, yet robust email marketing tool. Along with similar tools, the company offers a free plan. Their latest isn't as good as it used to be, but at around 2500 emails, it becomes a better deal in many ways than Mail Chimp (which is free up to 2,000 contacts, although automation is an extra $10/mo.).

On one hand, I like the very simple email design, which helps keep the look consistent. On the other hand, there are few built-in design options. And although Mad Mimi has many sophisticated features, Mail Chimp takes it even further. So if you're planning on using Advanced Segmentation for example, and don't want to switch between providers, you may want to start off with Mail Chimp rather than move your data over.

If you're a small business, or just getting started, I highly recommend this tool for its low cost and ease of use. If you're a highly sophisticated email marketer, you may want the extensive capabilities of Mail Chimp or one of the gazillions of other email marketing tools out there.

Mad Mimi provides a quick and easy way for a small business to do email marketing. It has most of the features of other email tools, from building a contact list, automating mailings and reporting, to some other pretty sophisticated email marketing capabilities.

Outreach efforts, of course. But as subscribing/unsubscribing is in their hands, it freed a lot of time compared to the old days when this was all done manually.
