Working for an SME, I find LUCID's straight forward UI and Collaborative tools to be really useful when working with several colleagues. The support from LUCID is always there if we need it which helps build our confidence as we have used LUCID more and more over the last couple of months alongside building our processes for our new CRM. It's easy to install, it's a toolbox kit of everything you would need for process development, and as the title says, it's been a godsend. Easy to integrate into the system we already have and fun to use... and boy do we use it a lot.
There is nothing I dislike about this system. One of the first things I wanted to do when starting with this business was to make sure the Business had it... especially for the work I do.
Its helping me to clearly map out business processes and design work flows for our new CRM.
The best part of lucid visual collaboration is the ease of use where you can jump right in to start using the software with minimum training. The number of features is mind blowing along with its ability to integrate with other programs such as power point or word. The ability to implement it into company wide meetings or training programs has been a breeze. Lastly the customer support with tutorial videos and helpful information has really made this product something special.
I was not able to find any downsides of lucid during my use.
We have used it to create a process flow for each aspect of our business.
Lucid is a great tool to have team brainstormings (and therefore to improve the products and process flows); to make a visual lay out of the current set up (I recently joined a huge corporartion with lots of complex projects, and having visual lucid material really helps to comprehend it); it's easy to use and saves tons of time; we use it almost in all our meetings; we integrate it with other apps and sometimes even use it instead of other apps (e.g. creating boards in lucid instead of jira).
Hmmm can't say, nothing comes to my mind. I didn't contact the customer support team yet but it could be a bummer if replies are very delayed.
improving the products; improving the process and saving time
We have heavily relied on Lucid Creatives Visual Collaboration Suite, in particular Lucid Spark, as part of our team worked. The collaboration part is such great an aspect thus making us be able to work together even when we are not in the same room all this can pretty much ok till here. I particularly liked the virtual post-it notes feature – it’basically a brain storming session which all people can view and add to in real time.
However, I feel that the price is a little steep when compared with other free programs out there. Although it’s easy to use, I think that something like Microsoft Excel has prettier charts and better options for organization.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has addressed several of these key challenges for us. irst, it fosters better communication and idea sharing among the team members. It also saves time by making it easy to collect group feedback and analyze it in one place.
I've been using the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite in my job making apps for phones for some time now. What I really like is how easy the software is to use; you can pick and make diagrams in no time. The skill to make a picture with many different colors, shapes, and lines gives lots of choice and works well for seeing hard-to-understand information.
But, there are two parts I find sensitive. The tool options on the left side of this program can be busy, which sometimes makes it tough to find a feature or part I want fast. Also, the models are a little inflexible; modifying a model or using it again with different details could be made easier.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has been key in fixing the issue of showing hard information in a clear way. It helps me share my thoughts better with the people in my group and those who have an interest in what we do.
As a new user, I love how easy it is to edit or manipulate multiple items at once. If I need to add a step in my diagram flow, it's easy to create room. Editing the chart in real-time with collaborators, was much more helpful than I reazlied. When I first signed up, a rep from Lucid had a zoom call with me to make sure I knew how to use the features best for my particular needs.
There are so many shapes/lines, etc without an explanation for what they're best used for, etc. I am a new user, I watched a few newbie videos on youtube and the Lucid website. I could have really used a basic how-to flowchart tutorial. Not just the tool, but a quick run-down of flowcharting basic do's and don'ts. Many have never used these tools before, and it would save us a lot of time and help us get down to business.
Quick editing.
As a reular user of Lucidspark, I found it intuitive to use from the get go. The flexibility of the canvas style software allows it to be used for multiple types of projects, including research and design, whilst maintaining enough different options to keep the information granular. It is also super easy to share with others and collaborate on a document together. I find myself regularly returning to Lucid to get down thoughts or review information!
My favourite thing about Lucid is its simplicity and resulting adaptibility.
It's hard to say that I dislike anything! One thing I would note is that I rarely use Lucidchart. I think this is because I find it a little more complicated and rigid meaning it does not fit into my workflow. This could be down to the way I work though!
As a designer, it can sometimes be difficult to get thoughts onto 'paper'. Lucid makes this process simple and efficient, allowing me to focus on the creative process. I also find it difficult to get a whole team working in sync on a problem, especially when some voices are louder than others. Taking time to work silently on a shared board means that everyone gets a chance to 'say something' by getting it down.
