The best thing in Lokalise is to be so user-friendly. There we can check other translations, other translation options, very complete.
And now with AI option available, work gets easier and the sky is the limit.
Nothing to be disliked. Everything works awesome, so all good!
Translation doubts regarding terms and past translations, helping keep coherence. Proofreading is also very easy. The software layout is similarly easy.
I love the Figma/Lokalise plugin, because it makes it so much easier to work with product designers and translators as both can provide all the information needed —such a game changer.
Lokalise/Hubspot integration process is quite long and complex, so since a few months now we have stopped using it. That's a pity.
- Centralizing keys into a translation project
- Progress tracking in-app, and email updates
- Context: screenshots, character limit
- Back and forth: comments with tags
Is very user friendly, simple to use and seeamless interface. Ease of implementation and fast customer support.
I have used localise extensively, as of now I don't have any dislike twards it's features.
It's solving the issues our app has on translation, by keeping a solid glossay of terms and a consistent translation throughout the app.
Easy to use and integrated AI translations, very very usefull thing when you need to translate a lot of texts in different languages.
Search is a bit hard to use, but it's not a big deal.
For us it solves two problems:
1st is localization management
2nd automated translations
It is online, cloud-based, and mostly always online. User-friendly and customizable
Sometimes buggy, the sidebar with indication of the number of the keys are buggy, most of the time I don´t know where I am at during a project. It does not have integration with Xbench 3.0, this is really a bummer. It does not have a reliable QA module, which I think it is as important as a nice CAT tool.
It is cloud-based and lots of people can work on the project at the same time. I belive it should be also very useful for the developers, where they can get the files they want.
Lokalise works perfectly and helps me translate much faster than I would without it.
In the beginning, it was a little hard to understand all the features that are available on Lokalise, but I got used to them. It may not be something I really "dislike", but something I needed some time to get used to.
With Lokalise, whenever there is something that I have already translated previously, I can easily find that in translate it again consistently, without using a different solution every time. This helps me translate faster and keep my translation consistent.
It offers everything need from localization service. Managing of keys is simple and can be easily automated. I am using it almost daily and it's always a breeze. Integrating it into existing project is trivial and they offer multiple options of how to approach localization, depending on your project needs.
Some of the useful features like version branching are paywalled, but that's to be expected. The Lokalise is very useful even in its free form
We are using Lokalise for copy management and translations to other languages. We are able to change text in the app without having to do app update, so it is useful even if you support only one language
Easy interface and simple buttons, easy to find.
It would be great if Lokalise would enable an auto-propagation feature.
Lokalise is helping me checking the translation process.
- The product itself integrates into your workflow seamlessly
- The integration with Figma powers a design-oriented process
- Customer success is incredible
- Other tools failed to have us stick several years
- Can have been complex to set up in the past but they keep improving the onboarding into products and features
- There was a time with fewer new features because they focused on improving the performance, this time is over now :)
Before Lokalize, the localization process was too much operational and not focused on the quality of the content, people from different teams were painfully collaborating. It is solved now
