Greatly simplifies intake of large e-discovery repositories. Allows large teams of people to coordinate searching and tagging documents for review. Provides a great platform for auditors from our clients to review case work.

I've used other e-discovery platforms as a paralegal, and Logikcull is the easiest by far not only for myself, but also for my attorneys. The way you can tag with pre-made tags and custom tags, assign documents to users, and the downloading feature allowing you to customize your bates labels, endorsements, and production file type without losing quality are functions that simply cannot be beat. The user interface is not only very easy to use but it's a breeze to teach others as well.

It would be helpful to be able to do more things in the "bulk" action, though many features are planned to be implemented. They're transparent with their users about timing of implementations so it's not something that will always just be "coming soon".

We receive massive amounts of documents that often have duplicates, attachments, empty files, etc. The filtering process is extremely helpful, such as deduping on a global scale and cutodian level. We often receive massive inbox files and hard drives of computers and phones. I cannot begin to imagine the time it would take to review by hand or with other e-discovery platforms I've used. Not only can I review documents, but our entire team can simultaneously review documents and have it update throughout the project as we all use it.

They were able to help me par down the information easier which saved me valuable time.

I don't see any downside. My only problem was my own IT ineptness.

While Logikcull's interface is generally user-friendly, mastering some of the more advanced or intricate features might require additional training or time investment. Users unfamiliar with sophisticated data analysis tools could face a learning curve.

Still, the company boasts a wonderful customer support team that always answers our inquiries with haste and they also feature a learning management system through Reveal in which our employees have taken some basic courses.

I am able to upload and combine large documents and review all in one location.

Representatives are always available to assist. The Representatives are knowledgeable and patient.

I love the program. However, I wish there were fewer steps in accessing the finalized, reviewed documents. It sometimes gets confusing when I have to cut and paste the project number/ID to get the finalized version.

Logikcull allows you to set parameters for editing. The program is fast and has saved me a lot of time locating and redacting, especially given the fact that I'm often up against a hard deadline.

Logikcull is super easy to use but also incredibly versatile. There's almost nothing I want to do that isn't a feature in Logikcull already. Far more customizable than other review platforms I have used but also easier to use at the same time.

I find that searches can be difficult to get the logic right on.

Love all of the features and how user friendly it is. The customer support is fabuluous and it's easy to implement into existing documents.

Medical record review

I may sound like a preschooler, but I most like the progress bars and the color-coded Tags when reviewing documents. I mean, sure, there are also super-powerful search capabilities, deduping to your heart's content, and an easily-navigable interface for the admin as well as the users, too. Knowing at a glance what the progress status is of your upload or download (production) without diverting all of your attention away from the three other things you are attempting to multitask is awesome! If you have a production with 20 search strings, the color-coded tags will make a visual review so much easier. There are also lots of logical features built in to keep you from getting yourself into trouble. E.g. you cannot tag something Responsive and also tag it Non-Responsive. Helpful things like that will keep you on the right track when the coffee stops working.

Class action lawsuits? OK - so those aren't the fault of Logikcull. I have used a few other eDiscovery platforms, and I don't think the learning curve is any longer or much shorter than one over the other. I will also stress that my User Errors along the way were 1) because I didn't ask Support for help (which is available ALL the time, handy little chat function in the corner... ) or 2) because I didn't watch the FAQ video tutorials associated with my task. Soooo, I ended up creating a ginormous document production three times. Could I have avoided that? Yes. Did my firm get charged each time I did it incorrectly and needed to start over? No! It's not often you get free mulligans in the legal world.

I will say the search features are powerful, and with power comes complexity. There are abundant resources to help you figure it out, but for your searches to be performed efficiently, you need to learn your way around proper queries.

The support I have received has been second-to-none. They are responsive, patient, and interactive.

There is genuinely no possible way we could affect file transfers of the size with which we are dealing, much less review them, without Logikcull. When producing hundreds of thousands of documents, knowing that our preservation of privilege and confidentiality is not completely dependent on human judgment is so reassuring. The ability to narrow down potentially-privileged documents in minutes versus days is a game-changer.
