Listnr is a fantastic product with great features. It's not only perfect for converting text to audio, but it also has a built-in audio embedding feature that I use all the time. It's also an excellent tool for creating podcasts.
Everything works like a charm. Nothing to dislike about the product.
I use Listnr for converting blogs to audio; it has never been easy and straightforward. The interface is simply the best, and I love how they changed the monotonous voice that made my eyes roll, to a voice that is pleasing to listen to. Listnr is the best tool of its kind!
Listnr has several text-to-speech voices that are natural sounding and do not cost extra or have unreasonable character limits.
There was a few days earlier this year when an update had introduced a bug that had caused me to lose words from my balance. Clearly, their support desk was bombarded. They responded immediately and restored the balance. However, the bug kept reducing my balance. It was about 2-3 weeks before the balance was again restored and the bug fixed.
I have found that information overload is pushing more people to prefer to watch a video or listen to a podcast or document. Many of the document readers have annoyingly poor voices. Listnr solves these problems. I prepare for presentations and speeches also by converting my documents to speech. I use Listnr for many things that improve my productivity.
It's doing a simple tasks but it's doing it good and in easy to use way
Some of the text-to-speech speakers are not that natural
I use it to create a voiceover for videos, and I'm planning to use it to have my clients' blogs have the options to listen like a podcast
Such a simple App to install, and use, whenever you need to listen to virtually anything you want to.
Nothing at all to dislike about it. It's fantastic!
Anytime a Customer, Client, or co-worker has a primary language that is not English, it can help me to understand what exactly they are saying.
Listnr.tech has reasonable pricing compared to the competitors out in the market, with decent quality and accuracy. Also has support for various accents in particular languages.
The AI-enabled generator sometimes mispronounces uncommon words, which can make a different meaning for some users, and they don't have any option to report or resolve such cases directly through the API.
It helps send messages and notifications to the end consumers of our clients and is also used by IVR chat bots which have two-way communication in the form of journeys and utterances.
I love how easy it is to create and then export a voice-over!
I wish the functionality to "Highlight text to add effects to them!" was more intuitive; there's no description as to how to apply effects. I wish it was easier to know when you've used up your words and what the difference was between "Convert" and "Save".
Speech to text.
Start ups are literally just starting. What I like about Listnr is the founder. Always evolving, improving features and asking for direct feedback to improve the product. It is easy to set up and use, and saves a lot of time to create audio-based content from existing posts. Voices are natural sounding and improving.
Just a bit slow at times, with a bit of lag, but that is improving too, so as the tech evolves, hopefully the speed will too. The lack of distribution is something that needs to be prioritized as well as podcast scheduling.
Cutting down the time of content creatiing to increase reach and content distribution across multiple platforms and channels.
I have been using listnr to get started with my own podcast. In the beginning there were sometimes some technical issues but the support responded fast and fixed the bugs. Since then I think the platform has evolved pretty nicely. For example the studio where you can invite friend for intervies and create high quality video and audio recordings is a cool new feature.
There is nothing I particularly dislike. I think the statistics are a bit weird. It shows me 300 clicks but only 9 downloads. I don't know how I need to interpret this.
I can record and publish podcasts all in one tool.
It has a wide repertoire of voices and is easy to use. You can create a podcast, reuse content and work on the multilingual part of blogs.
I have no special complaint. As for Spanish, that is what I use. It is well finished. Although, some accents are more elaborate than others. In the case of automatic failures, it allows you to correct it manually.
I acquired this tool for several purposes: Blind + Create a podcast of the least read articles quickly + translate into other languages with which I have pronunciation problems.
