I like that it's user-friendly from both a front-end and back-end perspective. It's really easy to integrate into existing systems; for example, our agency uses Google Calendar, which feels organic inside our calendar.

Although the pricing module is very cost-effective, I think it's slightly unclear that once you go over the five free users, i.e., you go to 6 users, you then pay for all 6.

Goodbye spreadsheets! It's so much simplier, and visual to book annual leave. The Wall Chart features allows me to see as a Manager if there are overlaps with multiple people off at the same time.

as a small organisation with 1 employee and a board of voluntary directors this was ideal for monitoring and keeping a record of my annual leave.

Not yet found anything to dislike, have found it easy to use.

We have used Leavedates now for years, moving from the free tier, to hundreds of users. It was really easy to onboard and manage the users via import/export functions. We moved from a spreadsheet system to LeaveDates, and our HR team workload was massively reduced. Our users, both salaried and weekly paid now book all their daily/hourly/weekly leave via LeaveDates. In the few cases we have needed to contact customer support, the response has been quick enough and always handled by someone who understands and also has been to resolve queries.

It would be nice to have incremental earned leave automatically applied/configurable, but I know this is something the support team are already working on.

Leave dates is self intuitive. Easy to set up and quick to understand. I had tried several others before discovering Leave Dates and haven't looked back! I am able to personalise the leave types, decide what comes off the annual entitlement. Entitlement years can be Jan- Dec or Apr-Mar and all bank holiday allowances are included and the correct days leave deducted when bank holidays/weekends overlap. Sounds obvious, but some systems I tested didn't do this.

If someone has booked a half day off and you have set the calendar to not permit 2 people off at the same time, Leave Dates still recognises that someone has booked time off even if one is in the morning and the other in the afternoon, so no overlap. Not a major problem as there are only 2 of us, but an improvement on this functionality could help bigger teams.

The user interface is easy to pick up for both end users and admins... and the price is right too!

We need a mechanism to manage overtime which some systems offer. This would be a great addtionl to Leave Dates

As a small business we were using .. yes, a number of speadsheets.. Leave Dates was great for us. Low barrier cost to entry and easy to set up.

We looked a few solutions but LD came out on top for us and after now 8 months of using , we still believe that we made the correct choice.

Leave Dates is very simple to use and perfect for a small company that has suddenly grown too big to manage with just a wallchart. The interactivity and workflow has transformed our management and communications about when people want to take leave and the reports at a touch of a button so time-saving.

The set up was slightly confusing, given this was the first time we used this sort of system, but once set up all fine! We were provided with useful help all the way through.

Our company simply became too big to manage this on a wall planner. We were spending too much time working out when people were on leave and how this was affecting our effectiveness.

Simple UI and easy to setup, although it does also have a good range of customisability to fit your needs.

We haven't come across anything negative using the platform so far.

The only thing is the language, currently it is only in English, to get this going across Europe it would be nice if did translate, however i think IOS device does do this with the built in translations from IOS.

We had an awful process of having members writing on a peice of card, then it would pass through 4 people, 5 Excel sheets & 1 Diary (why a diary when it's in excel?!)
