LabGen is robust and simple to use. The integration capabilities coupled with the order entry interface is among the best we have used in 10+ years experience. The reporting capabilities are also extensive which is critical to our business management.

At first it looks overly simple to the naked eye. But once you dive the software is intricate yet maintaining a degree of simplicity.

Labgen is very consistent and robust. We are never down and every day when we log-in or our clients log in online, they can confidently expect the program to be working properly. Labgen is also compatible with every EMR so compatibility and connectivity has NEVER been an issue.

Pricing options and the level of support is great compared to other LIS vendors.

I would like there to be a forum for training or other common questions.

LabGen gives us a better more reliable Lab workflow that allows us to focus on patient care rather than troubleshooting issues with computer systems. We're able to integrate with our clients and partners via industry standard HL7 interfaces.

Not much! Occasionally takes longer time to fix issue.

We have bi-directional interface which makes easier for staff and providers to see real time status of results and pending orders

The support we get is thorough and quick. They follow up until the issue is resolved to our satisfaction.

Although we have worked around it, when they loaded it on our system it was not clean. Too much minutia we do not use.

Labgen has made us much more efficient as a lab. They are able to connect to any office's EHR system is relatively short time. As I mentioned above they jump on any problems quickly and get them resolved quickly. That is critical in order to keep our clients happy. I briefly played with the idea of switching LIS systems (you know the grass is always greener) and could not find one equivalent one.

Support Teams are lacking to understand front end users' problems, more improvement needed on rules(Compendium/Results)

I like how easy it is to navigate and use the functions. I like the multiply functions Labgen has.

I dislike the how the system would glitch on me and not process a command or order.

Make sure you have a sturdy IT team. The program has issues that take time to be fixed. Thr easiest way to get through it is to work through it all.

I used Labgen to order medical test. Labgen was being used as LIMS. I realized it was a quick way to process orders

The customer service, the quality of work provided, etc.

Don't use them. Literally, try anybody else.

Just trying to set-up routine LIS with Chemistry tests and CBC's. Took them several months, and Horiba and Bio-Rad basically questioned whether they knew how to do anything.
