As for our basic needs in animation and video production process we totally satisfied with Krock.io and can definitely recommend this platform that gives the opportunity to control the projects at different stages, leave comments that are visible only to the team while making some adjustments, alert your team of a review need.

Mark the comment as a 'to-do task' would be perfect to implement.

What I like about Krock is comparing versions and keeping all in one place, uploading and share HQ and heavy videos, sharing the project in Guest view and inviting clients and colleagues for review and commenting process.

No uploads required, just register online to have several workspaces.

Literally everything! Life changer of an app!

Very easy to get started both for team and clients; nice to have a dashboard with all ongoing workflow in one place; task assignment right where all the work is displayed next level of commenting with comment assignment options both for clients and colleagues; notifications whenever there is a status change, a comment reply, approval or rejection;

the last is also a big advantage - the client simply gets an Approve/Reject button on the version you send, makes comments - you get notification :D

All in all, saves time&energy, eases the workflow and client relations!

The mobile version would be good, but the customer care team said it´s coming.

Everything. I used to use Techsmith video reviewer. The upload and review process does everything that Video Reviewer did and much more. The ability to assign Status, and @mentions to target comments and create Storyboards (with import and export added as a feature request) takes it to another level.

It also has a Gant-type view (Workload), where you can assign tasks, set start/end dates and keep the progress of the status of projects.

I cannot rate Krock.io highly enough. I love it!

Inviting SMEs required them to create an account to gain access to my workspace.

Creating this account provides them with a trial workspace and permanent access to my workspace.

Once the trial ended, they got emails about losing access that confused them. I did raise this with Krock.io, and this was addressed. No longer an issue.

Review/Approval process of scripts and videos.

Where multiple SME's are involved, having all the comments in one place makes tracking/actions simple and efficient. Incorporate the comments, check them off and re-upload the revised version.

I've been using this platform for 6 months and I've never regretted it!!!

What I like about Krock is

- that you can find all versions of the project in one click. It's comfortable for us as for our clients to observe work dynamics.

- real-time communication with the client and developers in Krock

- a convenient function to start counting the time from the moment the previous step was approved, which helps to display the project completion date as realistically as possible!!))))

It would be great to add some sounds of notifications.

It helps me to organize the processes and follow the deadlines.

I can track the general workload by using a calendar or track the workload of each employee or project by Gantt chart.

The free trial was a helpful insight into the functionality. Also really helps educate clients on our workflow and process step by step.

I dont have anything that I dislike of the service.

Running all our projects both internally and with our clients. We collect all material and communication in the platform.

That this is all in one app - you structure your work process there, manage your team, and clients review your work there.

Super easy to use, client didn´t have a problem figuring out the platform on his own - always a plus!

Comments on the video/image anywhere on the frame. Really cool that it automatically shows the time stamp when you leave the comment on video

The mentions are a huge relief - I assign a task or comment and a person gets notified right away.

Nothing so far, I know there are a lot of integrations on the way , like Zoom etc

Now we have all our work in one place and well structured. Krock saves us a lot of time, minimizes miscommunication, the review process is x100 faster and clients are happy as we are

We loved that we had access to everything in one place - breakdowns, illustrations, videos, calendar/Gantt-view, and knowing all versions are stored safely. It was easy to get an overview and get used to the interface.

We are still waiting for the mobile release and being able to sketch out comments on illustrations and videos.

I would recommend KROCK.io if you're looking to gather all sharing and review-process in one place. Even though it is a very new service, we experienced it smooth and stable. I'm sure they will release a mobile version soon and will continue to improve and add new functions along the way.

We were presented to KROCK.io when working together with Hound Studio on an animated short film. From a client perspective, collaborating turned out to be easy and organized. The team at Hound Studio uploaded everything into folders, and I was able to comment directly on all images and videoss.

Our organization is currently using several different services for sharing and reviewing our media material, but we will look into if this is something that will work for our organization too.
