What do you like best about Knowledge Direct?

We have recently upgraded to a newer version of KD, though we used the older one for years. Customer service and tech support are phenomenal.

We don't have any major issues with performance or maintenance. It was fairly easy to integrate with Salesforce.com and Salesforce Customer Community. Their tech team was very helpful in designing interaction that met our needs. Using SSO is helpful to our customer community users.

What do you dislike about Knowledge Direct?

The only thing I'd add is a bit more flexibility with customization. As an admin I'd like to be able to add custom fields and turn on/off certain functionality without contacting KD.

What do you like best about Knowledge Direct?

We were able to mostly troubleshoot and address user issues without engaging the KnowledgeDirect support team.

What do you dislike about Knowledge Direct?

User experience on the platform was clunky and outdated. Missing powerful reports for admins. Nonsensical admin features (such as customer entries in alpha order by first name, not last name). Customer/dev support was not very responsive and unable to address many issues I raised.

What problems is Knowledge Direct solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used KnowledgeDirect to host certification exams online, in conjunction with a separate proctoring service. This allowed us to offer more exams to more candidates around the world, expanding our reach significantly. We also used KD as our Learning Management System (LMS) for approximately 8 years to host professional education content for our members.
