Knak has completely transformed the way we build and manage emails across marketing, product, and customer teams. The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, even for non-technical users, and the ability to create locked sections ensures brand consistency without hand-holding. I love how easily we can spin up modular templates that scale across campaigns while still giving us creative flexibility. Collaboration is seamless—we can build, review, and approve emails all in one place without version control issues or waiting on dev support. It’s saved countless hours and improved our speed to market.

The platform can occasionally be a little rigid when trying to implement complex design tweaks that aren’t supported out-of-the-box. While the editor handles 90% of what we need beautifully, certain styling limitations have required minor workarounds or trade-offs in layout.

Knak has helped streamline our entire email creation workflow. Before using it, building campaigns meant relying heavily on Pardot’s HTML—based design system., slowing down turnaround times and making collaboration clunky. Now, we can create beautiful, on-brand emails and landing pages without touching code. It’s dramatically reduced my production time and increased the consistency and quality of what we send.

KNAK is a great tool for building emails, with a super intuitive drag-and-drop UI that makes the process simple and efficient. Our designers love it, noting that it feels like it was built with their needs in mind, offering a lot of flexibility while still being easy to use.

Once our templates and themes were set up, the team found it quick and straightforward to build emails. We provided licenses to our marketing team, and after just one short enablement session, they were able to use it successfully with no issues. The sync to Marketo works seamlessly, and it has really helped streamline our marketing operations.

The only thing that could be improved is dark mode settings, though I’m not sure how much control KNAK has over that. That said, it’s a great tool overall, and their support team is always fast and helpful.

With a user-friendly design, it's easy to develop emails with ease, no coding required; Simply drag and drop. Plus, it's easy to collaborate with other team members and capture reviews, all within the platform.

Hopeful the platform will introduce new features like live polls and other interactive email options like scratch-offs.

Our business users were coding landing page templates with limited coding experience which forced them to reuse existing templates with minor modifications. With Knak, they were able to drag and drop in a user friendly UI to develop landing pages and utilized the integration to our Marketing Platform to transfer assets for use. This has saved significant time for our Marketing team.

Lack of bulk functions and a few integrations from Pardot

Knak has helped with cross-team collaboration, review processes, brand governance, integrations (e.g. Movable Ink & Marketing Cloud), dynamic content, and so much more. The platform is user-friendly and creating no-code emails from scratch is fun and easy. This Canadian-based company is incredibly innovative and offers top-notch customer support!

Difficult to find things I dislike about Knak, as they have greatly improved our efficiencies and processes. When there are minor issues or fixes, their support team is extremely responsive and quick to remedy.

Knak's intuitive, no-code email building capabilities have eliminated the need to code emails from scratch and enabled non-technical team members to contribute in the creation process. Dynamic content has allowed for deeper personalization and there are easy, out-of-the-box integrations with Marketing Cloud and Movable Ink that we find extremely beneficial.

It's pretty simple to use and has a lot of options to personalize our emails. Also the integration with Marketo helps a lot and is super useful.

Even though there´s a lot of options to change emails layout, I think it would be important to have even more. Some times we have a lot of the ideas but can't put them in practice because of platform limitations.

In the past we used marketo as a tool for all of our emails, but there are a lot of things that we can't do there. With Knak we can fill the voids with more personalization possibilities, for example adapting layout size in desktops and cellphone screens.

Knak is easy to use (kind of like PowerPoint but for emails) and allows us to create high-quality, brand-compliant emails that look great on both desktop and mobile clients without having to have marketers know HTML or CSS. It has allowed us to create emails significantly faster and deploy them through our marketing automation platform seamlessly. We've also been using the landing page builder which is much more flexible than that found in our MAP. Our creators love the ease of use with Knak - it's allowed us to scale our efforts globally. Our MOPs folks love the ability to sync assets built in Knak to our MAP (indivdually or entire programs) so quickly...such a huge timesaver!

There is nothing that I "dislike" about Knak. The only area that I can see an opportunity for further improvement is continuing to stay in sync with Microsoft Outlook updates for the download HTML for Outlook feature.

We needed a way to be able to create more consistent emails and landing pages regardless of the region or business unit that is creating the asset. We also needed a solution that would allow for emails /landing pages to be responsive without needing to wait for our internal IT or outside agencies to optimize for mobile clients. In addition, we wanted to provide our marketers with a view into the creation process and allow them an opportunity to make edits rather than having our creative agencies make every little change. Finally, we wanted to make sure that our emails were coded properly so that we didn't have delays between the time that the email was approved from a creative/content perspective to when it was reviewed from a technical/coding perspective for our marketing automation platform.

We were able to realize all of these benefits through using Knak.
