How easy is to communicate with patients. How easy is to send pdf files and other documents
Sometimes Klara logs me out for no reason, we also had so trouble w/ payment processing
Helping us to facilitate patient communication
Klara is incredibly easy to use and the Telemedicine function has been wonderful
Wishing that Klara had an app for patients to keep on their phone.
Back and forth communication has decreased significantly.
I like giving the patient a quick response without picking up the phone and calling them. They can ask a question and get an answer faster.
I WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO INTEGRATE THE MESSAGES WITH THE PATIENT's CHART SO THE MESSAGES ARE IN THEIR OFFICIAL MEDICAL RECORD.
Before Klara, I would get 30-60 voicemails a day, and it was very time-consuming to listen, write the messages down and go back and forth with the patients.
Ease of use, automation, and user control
Some automations haven't been fine tuned yet and there are some restrictions that leave much to be desired
Appointment confirmation, digitized forms, direct communication with less waiting on the phone
easy communication with patients saves time for my nursing staff and they are not playing phone tag. great for confirming appointments
I do not recognize any downside to Klara at this time
HIPAA compliant, easy to receive pictures through the site and feel confident you are maintaining their privacy, time saver.
It makes communicating with our patients so much quicker. We can ask them for documents that are very hard and require a lot of time to scan in otherwise. It is easy to comomunicat3e with other team members regarding specific patient accounts.
It would be nice if Klara integrated with our EMR system so that we could upload documents to the patient's chart easier. We also wish that we could delete employees that we no longer use, but instead, we have to leave them as "disabled".
Klara is lowering our call volume, helping us obtain patient records, we are able to communicate more efficiently with patients of all ages. We aren't having to make as many outbound calls.
What I like most about Klara is the ability to easily manage incoming and outgoing texts to our patients - Since we cannot answer all incoming calls, Klara texting has made a big impact to our internal workflow and overall patient satisfaction
What I don't like about Klara is that you are unable to mark messages as urgent
Our biggest issue was our inability to manage the number of incoming calls. Our patient satisfaction score was low, and our patients' number one complaint was that they could not communicate with our office. One staff member did nothing but retrieve voicemail messages and return calls all day long. With the Klara texting, all staff can manage messages throughout the day and I gained back my FTE, who is now back on the clinic floor attending to patients instead of retrieving messages.
We started using Klara back in 2019 when our practice started. When patients got used to using it, it became our primary form of communication. We have been understaffed for 2 years with no receptionist and, honestly, with the Klara Assistant and integration into our phone tree, we don't need it. Our patients and potential patients can reach us via our website, voicemail, or directly through Klara. It has been an investment we will never regret:
Rarely do our phones ring to the point that many folks are waiting a long time.
Because Klara transcribes and saves voicemails, we can get the gist of the conversation and need and assign the task to the right person.
One of our favorite things is being able to support patients with forms for intake and HIPAA-Compliant forms.
When the Pandemic Lockdown happened, Klara stepped up and added video calls for telemedicine. We still use that today. Our patients love it.
When we switched EHRs, we could integrate directly into Klara and now upload documents with one click. Documents are stored there, so things we couldn't transfer from the old EHR are also held there. We also added Klara Assistant which will send automated texts based on a patient's appointment type. It's been a game-changer! I have two staff members who no longer have to focus on appointment prep full-time; now, we leverage the technology, and things are much more efficient! They are working on other non-routine tasks currently. Now I am making better use of our precious human resources.
The support team is quick to respond and quick to take feedback. Klara are always looking for ways to improve, grow and meet needs. We'd do it again if we had to start over and we recommend Klara often.
Sometimes mobile carriers make changes that stop messages from going through. We quickly contact support when this happens, and they're always already working on it.
Some of the enhancements to Klara currently only integrate into an EHR we do not use, and it becomes frustrating to see this option and not be able to take advantage of it. However, when I show interest, that gets our EHR integration on their radar, and they add it to their enhancement roadmap.
We need less staff. Our phones are not ringing off the hook, meaning we can focus on the patients in the office rather than on the phone. We can complete e-signed documents to keep on file, saving time in the waiting room for our patients. And prior the appointment, we can prepare patients for an appointment and screen them for Flu, COVID, and cold symptoms that we try to keep out of the office.
Broadcast texting, sending patient consents and forms to sign prior to arrival, the new feature that shows unconfirmed appointments for the follow ing day. Everything!
Sometimes the consent forms take a few minutes to come back to us or show that they have been completed.. other than that, nothing!
encripted messaging between us and patients
