It should have the option to include the field for the participant’s names.

KingSumo is an easy-to-use giveaway software that lets you increase your newsletter subscriber count and social media followers. I like that it is simple to understand and to set up a giveaway. You add a description, an image, and then connect the actions you'd like people to do to gain entries. What I like most about it is that it requires people to do the steps and it confirms that they did it. For example, to follow you on Twitter. Other giveaway software will ask a person to click in order to follow, but all it does is load your Twitter page; it doesn't confirm that they followed you. So they close the tab, go back to the giveaway, and earn the entry. KingSumo confirms they followed, so you know you're getting your money's worth with the giveaway.

I dislike that there are so few social media connections. I'd like them to add more functionality to different platforms. And I want them to add in more advanced types of giveaways and contests beyond a random draw. Make it more like Gleam or Perkzilla, yet keep it easy to use.

KingSumo was a really easy tool for our entire marketing team to use every time we needed to do a giveaway. Creating the giveaway experience was simple and keeping track of how many entries people have is a breeze.

I'm not sure if this could be fixed by KingSumo, but sometimes the giveaway tasks were very hard to track down if the person actually completed it or not. They would get the points for clicking but we would still have to double-check.

Keep it simple. Sometimes we went too crazy with the amount of tasks to get extra entries and the process of filtering through what people completed to earn points took a while.

KingSumo helped us organize a giveaway and create a list of tasks all linked that people can complete for more entries. It increased our brand visibility and made the giveaway a seamless experience.

King sumo is a software that helps you run contests and it does the job perfectly for me. I like how easy it is to set up and I especially like how people who enter can get more entries by sharing my contest, extending the reach and leading to more email addresses for me. I also like how selecting the winner is automated.

It's a simply tool and not very sophisticated. While it's more than enough for my needs, if you're the kind of person who likes to run elaborate contests, then this might not be the best choice for you.

I was looking for a simple, inexpensive software that helps me run contests to grow my email list and KingSumo perfectly suits my needs. It also allows me to reach new audiences.

It has limited functionality that I feel could be much better with a bit of an investment.

I have launched giveaways using KingSumo that have been decently successful. I wish you could do more with it but it's good for its specific use case. Though I would look around for a giveaway tool with more features.

This is fast, and easy to deploy. We used other web forms, SMS messaging and facebookmessaging to run contests in the past. This does not have all the flexiblity of creating your own contest from scratch but it is SOOOOOO fast and easy. After running dozens of lead gen contests I can say it was 90% as effective as what we were building on our own with 1/10th the work. I should also point out that support is awesome. I had a coupl quetions that were answered quickly and accurately, just like my other Sumo experiences.

its pretty limited in terms of appearance, layout, colour, image sizing and you can not use GIF or video in the landing page. it does not do everything. But... if it did then it would not be fast and cheap either. This is NOT a deluxe solution but it is a very effective simple solution.

This is a no-brainer. if you want to run web of social contestes buy a subscription. It is cheap and it works. If you need a more elegant solution you'll llikely still want KingSumo when you need fast ahead of beautiful.

I just want to create contests quick and easily and get them launched. I was using a combination of custom forms, social media tools and hand bombing in the past. It was more effective but way more time consuming. This is not a perfect solution but it is good at a very low price. Custom web designers or those with OCD, this is not for you. For web novices or those looking to save time, it's aweseome. It will pay for itself in the time it savs the fist time you use it. Even if you move on, with a lifetime subcrition it will still be there to use any time you're in a rush and just need to get the job done.

-You can't collect the names of those entering, which makes personalization impossible. I would pay for this if it was part of a paid plan/upgrade.

-VERY limited integration with third party email vendors. I understand the limit for the free version but if I'm going to pay anything, I want the option to integrate with my preferred vendor

-KingSumo shows their own TOS and then I have to show mine. This leads to a poor experience for those entering the giveaways/contests

I was looking for a way to run a contest with my baby company to collect email addresses for the purpose of marketing. I was able to collect around 3,500 email addresses, which has been amazing! I've been able to use those emails to grow my business and to generate revenue.

I like how this integrates with our email service- ConvertKit.

There is no way to have them fill in a field in the free version at least.

This is a great way to collect emails via contests. It's intuitive and easy to edit/update.
