I love that it is so simple to access help when needed.
Kindful makes it easy to see our giving and to know when a transaction fails. It is helpful to know so quickly when one fails so the problem can be fixed quickly.
I know it can do much more than I think, but I am not sure where to start learning those things. I don't know what I don't know regarding what it can do. This would make it harder for me to learn.
As I mentioned above, knowing quickly when a transaction fails is extremely helpful. I am new to database organization, and Kindful has made it less daunting.
I love how I can always get quick answers from their positive, helpful support team!
There are a few technical functions that I would like to see expanded; but Kindful is always evolving, so I'm hopeful. :)
Kindful meets our CRM needs while helping us cultivate donor relations and integrate valuable metrics.
Ease t use, and able to create different Fundraisers.
When using the sign up for a ticket. You have to enter info twice.
Useful for our ministry to customize.
It was SUPER easy to use for our constituents! And very aesthetically pleasing.
Somewhat limited in customizing, but we made do.
It gave us a functional, interactive peer to peer platform and cleaner-looking, accessible, integrated donation pages.
It is very easy to use. I love that it can eliminate the use of other 3rd party sites like Eventbrite when trying to get registrants for an event. I think the features are great to make our jobs easier.
I really don't have anything I don't like. Would like to see the option to check people in for events via their mobile devices though. That would really put this at a top-tier level.
No need to look any further. This is a great platform.
It's helping my organization streamline our processes, cutting back critical hours for the administration, and allowing a one-stop-shop for our donor information. It has allowed our business to collect data and community donations better as well.
The dashboard gives an overview of the recent transaction on one page, Customer support is the best. Friendly to use software at a great price.
It takes time to merge or move someone's information to the trash.
It's perfect for any size organization. Contact the customer service with any request and they are quick to respond with an answer or a solution.
Kindful helps a lot to get a report of lapsed donors, contact them, and get in touch with them in no time.
Transaction batch makes it easy to enter all the transitions without filling the same fields again
Kindful has the best customer service I've ever encountered. Their articles, videos, and support search engine are top rate. Also, you can chat or email with a person and they are AMAZING - super knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. They give tangentially related information as well (as opposed to just answering your question and being done with it).
They don't give discounts for really small non-profits. You can only change your subscription level to a less expensive option once a year, even if you qualify for a lower level (based on the number of contacts) mid-year.
No more manually entering sales receipts into QuickBooks! The QuickBooks integration with Kindful works really well and has streamlined our workflow. We have also used the automated reporting capabilities to email us certain reports every day instead of having to remember to check for certain things.
Kindful's dashboard is excellent, and I particularly like the search bar at the top that allows for easy access to donor records.
I always have problems remembering WHERE to set up specific access for board members. It does not seem to be in a very intuitive place. I eventually always find it, but I think it should be a feature on the left-hand menu bar.
I am trying to upload a screenshot but I keep getting an error message. I have a screenshot in the following formats: GIF, JPG, TIF and PDF. I can email to someone if that is easier because I don't know why it will not allow an upload.
We use Kindful primarily to track donor contributions, and it has worked well. I have found many benefits in the reports that we generate, for both annual and ad hoc research.
Everything is on the main page and easy to find. The Thank You letters to our donors and the ability to customize. Donor management. Have not done a comparison
I have not come across any issues. I have not found anything missing. Nothing. It's a good product and I can't think of anything. Can't think of any improvements
Keeping track of our donations but also the thank you letters we like to give to all our donors. We are more productive. Because it's easier to use we can take care of other projects.

Customer service! One of the biggest reasons we switched- I can always talk to a real person within a day or so, and get custom responses and solutions. I also love the simplicity and "clean" (uncluttered, not clunky) design- it's intuitive and fairly easy to follow. Oh, and tax documents in January are SO easy to send out!
This is a great donation processor; it's not as detailed as some other CRMs. You can use it in some basic ways, but for very detailed CRM info- you will need to integrate it with Classy, Donor Perfect, etc. (but they have a whole section on integrations they've already created and that's a huge win!)
Financial reports can be scheduled to automatically run and be emailed out. Helping donors update expired cards, etc. Is much easier with direct access within the system. Also the tax documents we send out to donors literally took 4 hours in their system. We have over 2,000 donors and it normally takes days, but with the email feature, and then how easy it is to print the mailing address only documents AND print the pre-addressed envelopes: we saved so much time.
