This is such a time saver for us. The all in one platform helps us keep our business on track and also make it fun and exciting for the parents. The BIGGEST piece is also the people!! The people who own and operate Kangarootime are the absolute best. They are always available and they always open to adding features you need and making that happen in rapid timing. Also, the security of private information is fantastic and uses the most secure platform.
We truly do not have any complaints. The reasons above are a perfect representation of how great the program is. The things we have disliked in the past have been resolved or features have been added so we cannot write about ay dislikes.
You will be so happy with Kangarootime. The software will not disappoint and it will definitely save you so much time and money. You will love the people. Mostly, your parents will be so happy with the real-time App to stay in touch with their sweet little ones while in your care.
This is solving our issues by saving us time and money. The following features are why: billing and payments, parent communication, privately sharing photos of and information for the children, staff scheduling, Federal Food Program, health checks & tracking (especially awesome during COVID) and reports.
I have loved Kangarootime from day one. How can we pick what we like best when there are so many amazing benefits. The parent portability, ease of communication, signing children in and out, and billing for tuition are our favorites. We also love the rooming feature because our facility is unique in that we provide therapy services onsite. As a result of the rooming feature, therapists can pull kids out of their classrooms and "room them" to the therapy room, which helps keep track of location of all children.
The only problem we have had in the past year is that some parents complain of not receiving their messages. However, customer service is great about trying to resolve problems quickly.
I compared multiple systems when purchasing Kangarootime for my school. It had more capabilities with a large company accessibility but small company feeling.
We already had contactless signing in / out before the pandemic so it was easy to transition to a carline verses bringing children into our facility. We love the benefit of parents seeing their tuition bills and statements without calling us for financial data.
Kangarootime has a fantastic customer service, always on top of issues and follow up everytime

Tuition management has been a great benefit and a great load off of our shoulders.
What I like best is the rooming. You can see which children are in the building each day and you can see the room/ rooms they are in throughout the day.
As an administrator I can't clock in at different sites unless I make an account for each site. I wish my one account would allow me to clock in at all sites.
Kangaroo Time is helping us find our billing mistakes and it makes it very easy to fix them.
Kangarootime is super user friendly for both our staff and parents! It is easy for them to both learn and use. It does everything we need it to as program, plus more! I'm both a staff member and a parent that uses Kangarootime, and I have always been thrilled with the program. The staff at Kangarootime are also incredibly responsive to any issues, questions, and ideas that we have. It is a very efficient program that is organized well. I would highly recommend it!

Absolutely consider it! While it may not be as widely known as some other similar programs, Kangarootime is a wonderful choice. They are a wonderful company to work with, and I cannot say enough about their responsiveness, willingness to take feedback and implement ideas, and the ease of the program!
It has been incredibly helpful for our billing and reporting. It has also streamlined our arrival and pick up process, especially in these times of Covid-19 and not being able to allow families in the building.
How easy creating invoices for tuition is!
The only downside is our WiFi in the building hasn’t been strong enough for all the features.
Make sure you have a strong internet connection and make sure the tablets are compatible to the software.
Staying organized with line items on invoices. Our old way of recording tuition and other fees was out of date and disorganized.
As a director, I like that I can access it from anywhere I am. I can see which children are at school today, time stamps on attendance, the messaging now includes SMS texts, internal notes for ease, and so much more!
In the beginning, guardians could not pick up other families children.
We love it! They are always on top of new ideas and implementing any feedback we give. Any time we have an issue, we are contacted right away to resolve. The best team!!!
No touch check in and check outs. communication with parents, and just having info available at any time for emergencies is so helpful!

Billing is the most complicated aspect of any child care center. Kanagroo time managed to make it seamless but it does take some time and effort and more importantly repetition to get used to it.

It saves so much admin time billing is made easy.
So far I have not found anythings that I do not like
I am able to keep track of required paperwork for parents and teachers, they get auto reminders. Billing is automated and families also get auto reminders. I am able to check the statements before they go out to families. The parent app gives parents access to a lot of information about their account. Communication to the classroom or director is available via the app. parents receive real time updates about their children. Setting up a business from the ground up using Kangarootime is great.

I love that Kangarootime provides so much support for families and childcare centers to stay connected. There is an integrated door option for security via bluetooth along with a function to send messages, texts, and photos!
I would like an option for video to be sent to families. I believe Kangarootime is currently working on that feature! My staff and I are excited about that!
Kangarootime has an automated billing system that allows billing to run effectively and automatically without reminders for administrators.
