I love how Kanban Zone simplifies task management with its intuitive interface and customizable boards. It's a great tool for visualizing workflows and staying organized.

The color scheme of the application not being my personal favorite, but that's a minor aspect in comparison to its functionality.

Kanban Zone is solving the problem of disorganized task management by providing a structured visual platform to track and prioritize tasks. This benefits me by helping me keep track of my tasks, set priorities, and collaborate effectively with team members. It ensures that nothing falls through the cracks and allows me to stay focused on what's most important.

Easy to use once you understand the basics of what boards and cards are. Exceptional customer service

Not being able to log into two accounts on the same machine (it creates some errors in some things).

I am an economist transitioning from graduate school (Ph.D.) to the workplace, where I have increased responsibility. I had seen productive people use Kanban before and wanted to learn. I reached out to Dimitri and Kanban Zone and we set up weekly personal coaching. During the first session, Dimitri helped down my projects into smaller manageable components (cards), and made a board tracking the progress of the cards (is this section of the essay being written, edited, reviewed, or sent to outside reviewers?).

Over the course of a few weeks, I literally saw my productivity improve as I moved cards from backlog to done. This not only helped me shape my ideas, but also was very satisfying at an emotional level as I dragged each card to the next stage. During our weekly check-ins, Dimitri helped me deal with blocked issues, and brought up different Kanban Zone features (such as sizing, blocking, assigning cards to team members, and explicit agreements) that would help with the issues I had encountered that week.

I enjoyed Kanban Zone so much that I put it to use in moving out of my apartment. My partner and I are moving out (new job, therefore we have to relocate), and we had a mess of things in our apartment. We made a Kanban Board and cards for our different types of posessions. Kanban Zone made the moving process much easier. It was very helpful to sit down at the beginning of the day and decide which areas we were going to box that day.

I wish there was more integration outside web browsers (mobile, desktop apps).

Kanban Zone has helped me structure my thoughts in my day-to-day work, and has also helped me to organize my personal time.

The API's! We were able to integrate it into our website to enhance our processes. Now forms and feedback on the website create a card and are auto assigned. This has greatly increased our process response time.

Everything I have asked for has been put in place via a feature enhancement.

The Phoenix PMI Chapter uses Kanbanzone to manage workflow for our volunteer resources. It is extremely helpful and we could not operate it without the virtual tool. If rating the application, I would give it 5 stars. I refer the tool to private for profit organizations as a great way to track work and get things done.

The problem we are attempting to solve is how to get things done when resources work on tasks at different times of the day and multiple locations. The benefits we have realized is that we all can be collaborative and informed on progress.

How easy is to create, modify and manipulate boards, there is really no limitations on how simple or complex you need to design a board.

It is simple, intuitive, it just works !

The costumer support is superb, I have sent questions, or requests to the support team and I get a personalized email FROM A HUMAN within minutes. I have reported some bugs and they get resolved within the hour !... I have also asked for special functionalities to be incorporated and as they make sense and are generic, they got implemented within a couple days !

I would love a more granular security system where you could assign read or write access to specific cards

I would love to see more statistics being generated by the tool other than the generic ones

Kanbanzone takes away all the hassle and complexity of building and configuring your electronic board and allows you to immediately focus on what is important, work your project out

Start with a minimal basic set so you can start working immediately and add complexity to your board as you go

Use the Custom Fields, its a great way to get all you need from your board. You can for example, create one field to enter the product and track different products or projects within the same board.

Eventually, learn how to use the Public API, that will allow you to integrate your board with other applications for analysis or work reports. I use this API to publish my team's productivity statistics using Power BI.

Encourage the use of Kanban Cards not only to track the project's tasks but also to plan and organize the daily activities within your team.

I ask my team to plan ahead their week of work and create and update the board which we will review once a week to identify possible blockers and in general, have visibility of our job.

If you have a team geographically disperse, an electronic board is the best option to implement your Agile methodology, some electronic boards are very complex to understand and configure for the first time, Kanbazone makes it really easy for me and my team.

By entering and following up the activities that I need to cover during the week allows me to properly direct my efforts and the effort of my team towards specific goals

My team of developers is an in house team, we not necessarily need the Scrum Sprints structure but instead a pulling method like Kanban and Kanbanzone is the best tool we could find to keep track of our development activities.

The Simplicity & Power of the software is nice.

Additional features in fields and report gathering would be nice. Perhaps a way to measure when a card is "on hold" from a third party.

Try it first to see if it fits your needs.

Being able to create a virtual kanban board in any way I want without having to compromise and adapt to the technology. The Kanban board I create on a whiteboard with my team will be the same.

Kanban metrics. I do not have to adapt the reading of information using other available graphs or use plug-ins to have my kanban metrics that will improve my team's work.

Creating cards by forwarding an email to the board, helps tremendously to organize and feed the backlog.

The design was something that I had to adapt my eyes to. I was used to seeing and working with colored fonts and panels coming from all over the place and suddenly I saw a clean canvas to work with. At first, I did find it strange but after a while I got used to it and it's more pleasant to work with since my focus is on the information and not clicking the right panels to see information.

It allows me to use the Kanban Method without having to adapt to the technology. IT allows me to follow the method exactly as it is meant to be.
