JW Player has many different analytics and insights tools, including total plays, average video complete rate, devices, and countries. This makes it easy for our team to assess what our users are resonating with and what they aren't.

The app is quite expensive to use if you use it to host large volumes of content like we do on our platform. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with my experience using JW Player.

I would take your budget into consideration and plan ahead before committing to a subscription. Some of the plans can be quite costly depending on your media storage needs. Find the most important data points you want to track with your content and do a deeper dive on those. You will learn so much valuable insight about your customers. We have found the data from JW Player to be tremendously impactful for us!

Streaming is fast and uploading content is extremely simple to do. It's helpful to be able to host content and get our analytics tools all in the same place rather than using multiple different services. The insights are very easy to understand and help us take action quickly. We are able to get a significant pulse on how our users are interacting with our content.

At first we wanted to find only one solution to be able to insert videos on web pages, in this search for alternatives we have JW Player, the first impression is that it was easy to use, everything was neat and without any visible distractions in the player. I love how intuitive the website is. They just updated it so you can now tag videos straight from the home page. That and other new upgrades really make it user friendly.

The website can get a bit slow at some times.

The business I work for has an online portion of a school that we are uploading videos to everyday for people to watch throughout the United States. We needed a video platform to host all of these videos and JW Player is the best in the business. It is easy to upload videos and to embed them onto websites or playlists for other people to watch. They also make it easy to find different videos with their tagging system.

They are also great for live streaming and have not had failed on any of the hundreds of times we have used the platform to live stream as well.

JW Player allows you to play almost every type of video file out there,it also has a feature where you can edit video sizes and features.

It takes time to adjust setup to get desired format and it is somehow expensive.

Jwplayer is one of my favorite developers, I really like it a lot, it's a very clean and nice interface, it adapts perfectly to your HTML5 sites, it allows almost any type of video files, it also has a video converter, you can edit the resolutions, sizes and formats, the server where the videos are hosted, it's very good, I've tried other similar services, and regardless of the network speed you have, they tend to have certain video transmission failures, but here they have very good covered that topic, and the reproduction is quite fluid, very rarely, usually the server is down, or something like that, really friends, this is a great tool for us.

It is somewhat expensive, I would love this tool to be a little more economical, where we use it, because our business really needs it and they are the ones who pay, but I would like to use it as a video storage solution, for personal projects, but I really cannot, and the free version, does not have the features that have the paid version, it's just like to try :(

Jwplayer is a great player, and an excellent platform for hosting videos, but its price is somewhat expensive.

Jwplayer within our company has become the ideal solution for our video storage projects of all kinds, also the favorite of our clients and designers, for their web projects, it is a tool that complies with everything necessary to be a great player, excellent storage space, accepts almost any type of file, and also, its reproduction is very fluid.

We use JWPlayer to host videos for both internal and external audiences. The tool is simple, easy to use, and integrates with SSO.

Only downside is the requirement to be emailed a unique code upon logging in via SSO. Minor pain point.

We need a hosting solution for videos to be playable internally to our network as well as externally via the same video file. JW Player accomplishes this easily.

Its been a while since I had used JW Player, but, when I started at Ranker we did use it. It was interesting to use it to push videos out to various outlets / RSS feds, but, ultimately, Ranker did decide to stop using it.

The interface was a bit clunky in cofiguring feeds etc. It worked, but, the user interface took some figureing - we used it to push out videos to MAZ in conjunction with a Roku (OTT) channel we had at the time.

Its a decent option!

I hadn't worked with JW player in a while, and we just took it for what it was as an optio to send out video playlists etc. if was good, just seemed a bit buggy we used it for OTT. When i started at Ranker all was set up, and I jut managed creating playlists / sending them out.
