Overall nothing much. However it’s better to use Segment already, since connecting our platform would have been faster then.
As we’re growing as a company it became more difficult to see how active users were on our platform. We wanted to check what really makes a customer good or bad.
We focus on smb clients so keeping track on why users churn was also a big reason.
It’s a game-changer for us. We now have massive visibility into what our clients are doing. It allows us to push them quicker through the funnel and expose upsell opportunities or churn risks.

Making sure we know how users interact with our platform, getting insights into the ones that are in onboarding, and staying in touch with users that are not using the max of our product.

We use a custom CRM and had to put some effort in making a connection with it.
Picking out what customers need a little push to convert or expand. We were looking in a black box before.
Being able to work in my CRM instead of switching to another application. It’s really easy to work with & the UI is straightforward. We use them across all departments from CS to marketing and product. The onboarding was good as well.
Some more advanced features are harder to understand.
We started growing really fast and weren’t sure how to find the low hanging fruit in our customer base. After connecting our platform and CRM we now have insights per customers, and get signals when someone is about the churn.

Also, the real-time sync with our Hubspot and Intercom is great.
If you're using the full functionality of the platform it can be sometimes overwhelming and complex to navigate through all the segments and signals. A better way to test the action triggers would also be nice
