Agile Methodology can be best practiced if we are using Jira as the tool. Sprint, Scrum Roles, ceremonies, creation of different dashboards to allocate and track the task is the highlight. Each task can be created as Jira tickets and this can be slotted to the backlog and then to the Scrum Board Or Kanban Board when it is assigned to a person with the time estimate.
Every bit of work remains tracked as no other tools or methods are required
Nothing as a dislike. But there is a glitch I've found when we create a new jira card and when the view is switched to text from normal view. Editing becomes a lot confusing as there are certain prefixes to be used.
Software development Project is completely tracked with Jira. Each team member is been added to the scrum team. Gets access to whichever the boards they need to be in. Every bit of work is on track with correct practice of Agile Methodology and Scrum
kanban board, great flexibility for tasks as you can add any field that you want
Nothing i am aware of, have been using Jira for the last 9 years for different projects
easy to organize work with Jira
Release management, daily tasks within the team, kanban board to follow what everyone is working on and monitoring the backlog
The tracking system of Jira is great and accurate. From the start to the end of a project, the platform manages and notifies every change made to it and even notifies when the project gets assigned to someone else. Such notification and tracking helps users to focus on the project more and keep them updated regarding the same.
There is no chat or real-time conversation tool available, due to which, in case of specific requirements or changes needed in the project, clients or users have to comment on it and wait till the user responds. Other than this, the experience has been great with Jira.
Jira is a platform that keeps track of the progress of a project from its start to its end. It also notifies about any changes needed or updation done through mail as well on the web, which helps the user to be up to date about the project they are working on.Even splitting of large projects to be divided among team members has become very easy due to Jira.
Jira is one of the most intuitive services ever developed. The easier implementation on your daily basis is amazing. When you use it every day, you will notice how ease you can interact with it and how great it integrates with other services. The features are amazing even though those features depends on the each business. I use every day and I rarely have had any issues. The customer support is great and it works perfectly fine whenever you have to report anything.
Something I would prefer to get changed is the interface. I mean the current interface is amazing, however sometimes you need to do something in a small part of the software so popup windows while using one particular option would great. Other than that, everything works perfectly fine.
I personally use it more cloudly, but we make reports thorough it and create specific actions using the coding button. We can get a report/history of all the events recorded and the progress of each of them.
It is a great task management tool for both individual and corporate use. Ease of use and good number of features.
System integration must be improved to allow interaction between Jira and external softwares.
As a CSM, Jira allows me to manage my team efficiently and carry out effective communication across tiers.
I like the way Jira supports integration, for example guthub repositories are automatically referenced in Jira. The ease of use of Jira makes it perfect to onboard new colleague.
Sometimes Jira takes ages to load even though my internet speed is good. Jira should improve this.
Jira helps to manage the overall software, be it bugs or new feautures. It helps collaboration between different roles like developer, tester and product manager.
JIRA has made it easier to track bug throughout the whole SDLC.
Limited file size to upload, integration with other systems are complicated
Tracking bugs and product management throughout the software development lifecycle.
Jira is easy to use. we use it daily for our project management.
Jira provides us labels like p1,p2 and p3 based on the priority of the task we pick them to the sprint.
Other cool feature is we can link our bitbucket account so that when our code is merged. It will be updated in jira as well.
If the issue is bigger, we have the option to create child issues, which can simplify development for the developer.
I dont have any dislikes for the Jira Software.
we can easily manage the project and track the progress of the issues. If we find any bugs we can easily create new issues and add them to the backlog.
Just we can create any project and add specific team member whose is capable to complete or assign for that task.
We can create story for any task or issue and assign to any member.
The cost of Jira may be too high for startups or small teams with tight budget.
Because it maintains track of each job and allocated team member, remote work has become easier.

I like the fact that I can organize my team's tasks so they can all understand and move around accordingly to their work progress. I can create as many tasks type I want, and this helped us a lot to visualize what needs to be done first.
I don't have the most amicable relationship with the reports. I think they're tough to understand and not always helpful. I also have difficulty with re-estimating points for an issue. Sometimes an issue has been worked on but not finished, and I need to "complete" just a few points and leave the rest to the next sprint. To do that, I clone every issue and then mark it as "done" with the points we have done on that sprint. And then re-estimate the other one to keep it to the next sprint. I don't know if I'm being dumb and not seeing an easier way to do that, but if I'm not seeing it, maybe it's not that user-friendly.
It is a handy tool to organize the work. It also has a kanban board so you can visualize the progress of each sprint (or whatever you work with).
My team is very self-sufficient and can work without asking me what the priority is and what needs to be done first because we can visualize all the tasks and their values and their types.
