Izenda's ease of use is one of their biggest strengths. Another main advantage is that users have a great deal of control in terms of formatting and displaying reports. If required, a report can be formatted "Pixel Perfect" for accurate printing requirements. We were also able to embed Izenda seamlessly into our application making it seem like a natural extension to our product.

It would be great if power users were able to input a SQL statement to build a data set. Also another

one of the challenges we encountered was the deployment of Izenda to other internal and external environments.

Izenda is a complete, easily configurable and scalable reporting and analytics platform. We looked at many reporting tools and considered build versus buy. Izenda's combination of features, price and terrific support made this an easy decision..

Users must have some knowledge of SQL to build more sophisticated reports but for anyone looking for a powerful embedded enterprise reporting and analytics tool, Izenda is a very strong contender.

I personally like the flexibility that the Izenda's embedded architecture brings. Having worked with a lot of other solutions, I have always spent way too much time trying to circumvent rigid licensing rules when attempting to integrate BI tools into an enterprise and open architecture.

My main complaints are related to the old 5 series - which we still use. The schema management was a bit cumbersome, especially since we tried to link tables nicely in a start schema in order to help users create reports intuitively without too much knowledge of tables/joins. Hopefully the latest version will help with that.

The other thing was that reports are easy to "break" i.e. give the wrong result or errors, by just clicking on an option by mistake. The new version control will greatly help with that as well...

Charts start to look a little "old-style" and could use some revamping, especially the Maps. But they are obviously working on it as each new release brings its share of improvements...

Izenda is feature rich while maintaining a solution that is user friendly for every knowledge level.

Each new version has added significant new features; easy to use and to integrate with our software offering.

This is more our fault, but when we initially integrated Izenda into our product, we made a number of customizations to it that made it slower for support to identify issues. We have since upgraded to a newer version and are using it much more out of the box (still rebranded, though), and it has eased almost all of our concerns.

Izenda Understands embedded BI and what an OEM needs in order to make the BI reporting part of the application instead of a distant add on.

Izenda's new version has the experience of a mature product, but the implementation is new, so the ramp up time is higher than you might like.

As a new client, our experience has been excellent starting with sales and then working with the implementation team.

We've not had any dislikes throughout our implementation process. Izenda's team of employees provided an excellent implementation and support plan to embed their application in our applications for a smooth startup.

The flexibility and comprehensive options available to customers using an embedded feature that we can brand results in a win-win for us and our customers.

Some of the embedding tasks are not as documented as needed causing the setup efforts take longer than desired.

There are some enhancements I would like to see in the ability of the dashboard to launch other products.

We like the ability to point Izenda to our existing reporting database and immediately provide our clients with the ability to create dashboards that represent multiple graphical reports.

We haven't found anything that we disliked outside of the basic nuisances that come with integrating software. There have been occasional places where we aren't able to customize the code or the look and feel to be consistent with the rest of the application but those places are minor.
