Reasonable price - Excellent outcomes

This site is a reasonably priced option to practice real life conversation of a new language. You cannot get that from an app or online program. I have paid for and consistently used many excellent programs for years without gaining confidence in speaking to others. Although "italki" also offers group lessons, I like the individualized 1 on 1 tutoring. Prior to my selection of a tutor, I read the profiles and listened to the tutors' personal introductions. These gave an initial insight of the philosophy of the tutor and ability to speak clearly in my language. The site also offers both a questionnaire and a Bot to aid in selecting a tutor, although I did not choose any of those suggestions. I took advantage of the 3 introductory sessions which allowed me to see the tutors' teaching/interactive styles. I have been very satisfied with the lessons I have taken so far and highly recommend the site and my tutor to others. Tutoring is a great way to get over the anxiety of speaking in a new language. Remember, this is your journey. Finding the right tutor to walk with you is imperative and will save you wasted years of falsely believing you have developed true skill in a second language. Enjoy!!

Great for finding one on one tutoring
