Strong web app, not so great mobile app
What do you like best about IT Glue?
The software is extremely flexible for handling passwords and other documentation. We use DattoRMM so having that tied into IT Glue streamlines things. Adding new entries, auditing access, and keeping things up to date is pretty easily done. This is something we use all of the time, and though it does cost a bit, we're planning on continuing to use it for the forseeable future.
What do you dislike about IT Glue?
The mobile application is lacking. For some reason, we have to reset our passwords from time to time, even though we're confident the passwords are working. I feel like a lot of times they push events, conventions, etc (ie, advertising for IT Glue related stuff) too strongly and it has slowed down getting actual work done.
What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a secure, centralized location for customer documentation is quite nice.

This product is our source of truth for all things with our clients, vendors, and prospects.
What do you dislike about IT Glue?
The integration with Connectwise is flaky. In many cases I have to recreate objects that sync several times before they are replicated.

Good documentation system
What do you like best about IT Glue?
Having all the details for applications contacts locations & passwords across all clients be in exactly the same place is a game changer.
What do you dislike about IT Glue?
Account management is kind of a catch-22.There are lots of settings as far as groups and users and permissions for each organization for each user or group. While the customization of permissions is nice to have, it's a lot to set up.

When connected to other applications it's a great resource.
What do you like best about IT Glue?
The application by itself and is updated is very helpful but when the application is linked with other products that update itglue automatically its amazing.
What do you dislike about IT Glue?
Configuration items doesn't have all the devices listed on the side menu, and the app is not very friendly.

It's very helpful to keep information at the ready when the linked products update it.

OPs and standardizing how our team perform tasks to provide consistency across the team I was an early IT Glue adopter and have used it since 2106
What do you like best about IT Glue?
The integrations and automations. It's always been great at pulling information in from our various tools to help keep documentation up to date.
What do you dislike about IT Glue?
The new automations like the SOP generator and Insights are game changers and are making the tool that much more valuable to us.
Recommendations to others considering IT Glue?
Search needs improvement. Speed, accuracy have been an issue. It takes a little practice to be able to effectively get results.

Better search would help new techs and avoid that learning curve.
