The best thing about OVD is that we can use Linux and Windows applications side by side. We have been using OVD for many years since they were a startup company. Inuvika has been very supportive of the platform and we have worked well together throughout our time. I can say that it is a very functional system for our end users.
The only thing I can say that a dislike is the time zone difference between Inuvika engineers and ours. We have to jump around time zones a lot to get things done. I can not say there I do not like the platform in any way it has worked well for us over the years and has encouraged us to embark on a new business venture.
The biggest thing that is solved with using OVD and a way to avoid the high costs of VDI's that are offered through companies like Cirtix. We get the functionality of Citrix without the headache we moved from Citrix to OVD.
They are very informative and have great customer service.
Nothing, they are fantastic to work with from a Reseller's perspective.
They are helping my end user with VDI and they even provided a demo for his own use.
Inuvika is easy to use and provides a great solution for VDI. The user friendly interface is what I enjoy most about this product.
There hasn't been any issues while using this product.
The ability to be flexible within any environment by giving you several options to present to your end users.
Inuvika is easy to deploy. If you have all your systems in place, you can be up and running in a production-ready environment in less than 1 hour. You do not need to deploy a multitude of VMs per user either, so your server footprint is considerably smaller than in traditional VDI solutions. It is easy to manage as well.
The only complaint I have about OVD is the administration interface can feel a little "dated" and all over the place at first, however once you have become familiar with it you quickly forget about this, and you can focus on streaming your apps to end users.
There are multiple ways to interact with your applications. In some instances, it is so refreshing just to be able to use a browser to connect to applications and get work done from anywhere with a desktop experience.
Its simple and effective at getting your apps to end users.
It is multiplatform, it can be used on a cell phone or notebook with any linux or windows operating system,It is very easy to implement, virtualized applications work very well, allowing a much lighter work for heavy applications
some things don't work in the ovd mobile version, the rest is fine
It provides security to my old applications that can be left in dmz, avoids using vpn.
I love the fast access avoiding using VPN, the possibility of using different applications even if they are different OS
I find no disadvantages in the product. If I had to name something, it is that there is a lack of better reporting.
release hardware of some Legacy application services from Human Remembrance department, easy and fast access to business applications without losing security.
The end user experience is very good with little or no training required, it looks and behaves exactly as I'd expect a Windows desktop to look like, on any operating system
There's not much to dislike when I tested the product out, although I would've liked to have had admin rights to test it further.
Inuvika addresses many common challenges of running Windows apps on non Windows operating systems as well as promoting a safe secure solution that can be adopted as part of a BYOD strategy. In my opinion it could also be used as strategy for providing specific applications to contractors and externals and ultimatley cut down costs associated with desktop delivery including hardware cost, by promoting secure BYOD.
The Team members of Inuvika are well-informed, knowledgeable and interested in driving customer success, not just a quick sale.
Nothing! product is competitive with other technologies, with price advantages. Only advantage is more marketing to create more awareness.
Costs for business customers who are tired of using a traditional and expensive VDI/DAAS solution
This is a great product. We did a Citrix replacement with it and it was easy to implement and really cut our costs. The support team have been great with getting us setup and any questions we've had along the way
Nothing, it met our needs perfectly. Citrix had too many features and settings which made it very difficult to administer
Using it as an alternative to citrix which has allowed us to make huge savings on licensing and infrastructure. We've also started moving some apps over to Linux to remove our dependency on microsoft licensing.

The ability to connect from any device, without it having great features. Very fast, versatile and safe. In the case of technological renovations, enormous savings can even be made by continuing to use the equipment. Quick and efficient integration and deployment.
Actually I don't see any disadvantage, perhaps if the price is reduced it would be great, although compared to other solutions, Inuvika's is by far the most economical.
Quick access from anywhere, using any device quickly and safely. With quite low costs compared to other solutions on the market.
