Scheduling Software Built for Police, Fire, & Corrections
We use inTime at our city and have several departments utilizing the application. The userface is very clean and although there is a lot of areas within the app, the support you will receive from inTime staff makes up for it. I truly appreciate how I always receive a response to a question and how I never feel like I am bothering them. Everyone I have come in contact with from inTime are experts in their areas and it feels great to know that I am talking to people who can backup their work.
Some areas are not intuitive but there are a plenty of help tools to figure it out.
inTime is creating an organized schedule for our departments where we filing shifts, keeping track of leave requests and managing time banks are being used. Our staff also have access to the app which has information specific to them which makes everyone feel confident at what they are looking at.
Great for keeping scheduling organized and for holding employees accountable.
Can be difficult for new users to get the hang of it. But if you put in the work and practice, it's worth it.
Being a payroll administer, I use it to run reports to determine what people will get paid.

There is a substantial setup which requires the building of a platform for your specific requirements....although this results in a taylored system for your department.

InTime has made our lives so much easier - from posting and filling off-duty jobs to being able to quickly see who is on duty to pulling reports. In fact, we have just purchased the Asset Management and Training modules and they are great too.
There is really nothing that I dislike. Support is great and quick.

Intime helps manage everyday scheduling of employees
The flexibility is incredibly powerful. This tool meets the needs of our department and continues to remain relevant through further development and enhancements. Vendor offers a clear path to going full mobile which is something our organization embraces. We can manage nearly every aspect of our departments activities, run reports, and even integrate with our cities payroll systems.
The UI can be wonky at times. Permissions seem to change at times without explanation. Troubleshooting is a learning experience and not intuitive at times. Lack of Apple devices currently hinders our operation of the application. Not being able to submit overtime entries using the mobile version of the application is also a nuisance and a huge opportunity for improvement.

We have used it to manage manpower shortage situations by allowing employees to bid for overtime situations. Additionally we implemented a process in which we manage all off duty opportunities replacing an inefficient paper system. We have been able to use the report to help with labor studies and other studies that benefit the department and the community we serve.
InTime is a program that offers great support! Any questions I have are always answered efficiently, and they make sure I am able to use the program to it’s FULL potential!
There is nothing I dislike about Intime!
As I stated previously, InTime has great customer service. If there is something I don’t understand, they are there to explain. The program is easy to maneuver and easy to use!
I like mytimes clock in/clock out feature and when you remember to do it, it works well.
The manual time entry gets a little confusing if you’re not familiar with it and it really needs ios/android apps to be efficient, which it does not have.
We track our worked hours and get paid. The benefits are that you can submit a timesheet from anywhere and not have to be in the office.
