Code completion is the best among all other IDEs

Ultimate edition is paid and the Community edition does not provide completion for Spring applications

It's a very good IDE for Java/Android/Javascript projects

5. Various language support

6. You do not need a enterprise edition for your development (test automation or application development)

7. Quite good updates can be done at your ease

1. Frequent updates (sometimes kills)

2. Memory consumption is too high especially on windows laptop

3. Code conversion from kotlin to Java never worked that could have been better

I have been using eclipse for my test automation development which was so restricted in nature (may be I felt that) especially when it comes to VC interest ion (gitlab, bitbucket etc)

But IntelliJ idea was a power packed that saved helluva of my time as well as my teams time too In turn increased our productivity

The best thing about IntelliJ IDEA is that it allows us to create pacakge for various diffrent codes and we can list simmilar code at one specific package.

The only thing which I don't like about it is frequent updates which sometimes lead to data loss too.

It gives me better run time enivorment to compile my java source code which on other hand helps me to operate my in hand project.

I am using this for Backend development. It's simply the best in market. Great UI and fast performance

Searching commands can be better like Eclipse IDE

It has great suggestion while coding and good set of plugins that help a lot

responsive and feature rich plugins. It supports the latest build system, and the experience for both Android and backend development on java or kotlin, groovy is great. syntax/grammer highlight and auto-completion works great all the time.

The subscription is expensive, while too limited features for the community edition.

It provides a nice IDE for JVM based coding language, on cross platform.

I can do both mobile side and full stack development in one environment. It makes my developer work flow pretty streamline. It integrates console environment with mobile and backend development and easy to monitor things in my end2end code flow.

There are exceptionally less things about Intellij that I could have done without at times during comment handling it doesn't get the config and some of the time the IDE feels laggy because of weighty UI.
