Simplicity and ease of getting up to speed.
There is a bit of a rabbit hole once you've got sucked into the power that's Instagantt. But once you've mastered it, it becomes second nature and an absolute gem of a tool that I could never do without again.
Please, stop and consider your process.
This is the tool you have been seeking and needing to transform your productions from headaches to heart throbs.
Since I work in animation for film and television, schedules are at the forefront of the frontier in which an effective team/individual MUST operate at.
That said in a world full of communication and subjectivity such as art and timing (animation) it's absolutely imperative to begin any conversation with clear expectations.
This is where a solid Gantt Chart enters.
This solves prolems before problems arise, this solves questions before the questions are available.
I can manage tasks by category with subtasks to any level. The user interface is intuitive and laid out the way I work. It is easy to create dependencies among tasks. A tasks can have multiple dependencies. The package computes the critical path. I can track costs. Costs are summed at all levels. Tasks can be grouped into sections. Tasks can be converted into milestones and vice-versa. Multiple people can collaboratively work on projects. The impact of workload is shown by person across time. It is easy to move tasks around to different parents and sections.
I would like the ability to add custom fields. Hyperlinks can be added into descriptions but they are not active hyperlinks. They must be copied and pasted into the browser. The descriptions cannot be formatted.
The best way to select a package is to use it for several days. The key selling points for Instagantt were the user interface, workflow, ability to handle costs, automatic scheduling of dependent tasks, and computation of critical path. Critical path keeps you focused on what is important.
I need a single place to store all my projects and tasks, current and backlog. Instagantt works well, It is full featured and lightweight enough to use as my primary place to store information. So I not longer have multiple lists with different levels of detail, e.g., Microsoft Project for large projects and Workflowy for short tasks.
I love how easy it integrates into Asana but it is very intuitive interface, better than other project management tools.
Absolutely nothing. We are still working with the tool and discovering.
Benefits are the only thing we have realised and it is best to integrate with Asana.
Love the integration with ASANA, makes the creation of GANTT charts so easy!
Printing large GANTT charts will always be a challenge, however the link functionality where you can send a client/user a snap shot is excellent.
Saved time as I was already using ASANA.
Instagantt is by far the most powerful tool I have used for time and tasks organization. I like the how flexible it is, and how easy it is to creat, manage and mark tasks on different projects.
I would like to have the ability to choose whether or not to have display and notify me of my due uncompleted tasks.
Instagantt allows me to follow the timeline of each project I am involved with. It is very important for me to follow each tasks and activity belonging to each project my team is involved with.
Instagantt is a very powerful tool, that allows to visualize your projects in a graphical way in the form of Gantt diagram in this way you will be able to validate if these chords or in fulfillment to what are the delivery times of the same ones and you can also visualize that As advanced or backward these with your projects, besides all this, the tool is very easy to use, and its interface is very nice for its users, reason why many people worldwide use this wonderful and powerful tool
There is nothing wrong that I can say about Instagantt because in my opinion the tool works in an excellent and optimal way, besides at least it has helped me to organize myself better with my projects to be able to meet the established times and in this way can avoid R problems at work, since in the past I happened a lot that I was assigned a project and took a bit lightly and at the time of delivery there was always something that I was missing or something with some detail, but since I organized with INSTAGANTT stop suffering and St
My recommendation is to try Instagantt and see how easy it is to measure and meet the times of their projects to measure the progress of the same
At corporate level Instagantt provides an incomparable solution in terms of what is the graphics of the projects, since being able to visualize these in the form of diagram is easier to validate the status of each of its stages or phases and the times when you have to enter Egar each of them, also the tool allows a perfect integration with the Asana tool, which allows its users to visualize the projects and predefined in asana graphically in instagant, at least in my case this is a marvel as I have Used both tools
The workload view is excellent for planning resources across multiple projects.
Needing to manually create public snapshots before external users can see the updated chart.
If you're using Asana then this tool is essential in setting out dates for dependent tasks. It's free to get started and if you need the paid plan it's well worth the money.
Use this tool for producing project plans for projects as well as resource load.
Instagannt gives me the ability to see my entire team's workload in one view as well as shift timelines, scope, budget all in one place.
It's a little clunky and hard to figure out how to use at first, and the sync feature can sometimes glitch, but with careful clicking and some patience it works.
Asana as our PM tool doesn't have a great timeline or gannts feature which is a big problem when scoping large, complex projects with detailed timelines. Instagannt fixes that.
Instagantt is a bereeze to use. I've used a lot of different online project management tools and found that Instagantt stays true to how traditional project management works. Other tools have really frustrated me when all I need is an online Gantt chart that I can easily share with my team and Instagantt does just that.
Like all project planning systems, the screen real estate is generally overwhelmed with options so if you don;t switch off what you don;t need to see then it quickly gets cluttered and a little confusing
You can't go wrong by giving Instagantt a try. If you need a collaborative Gantt chart solution that is accessible to your team then this solution must be considered.
I'm able to keep a geographically diverse project team on track with Instagantt. we can easily plan out our projects and everybody can see what is expected by when. Not having to purchase additional software and expensive tools for all of the team has helped us save as well.

It has a user-friendly interface which makes it easy to adopt its usage, connect and track my project, I also enjoy its several options of combining multiple projects and sharing them with my client.
The link to open a new task sometimes does not work nor does opening the specific task that has been notified moreover when I use PDF for exportation it does not make clear PDF or images.
I highly recommend anyone and any company to use it, it's user-friendly and has a low budget.
Its ability to share my project with my clients is a beneficial thing to me it makes me save time and be more productive thus having efficiency in each of my projects.
