Inkscape is Open Source. No bank-breaking license fees. It's got plenty of tutorials online for getting things done. It is simple enough to not be overwhelming, yet powerful enough to get the work done.

Not much really but maybe adding simple animations can be helpful. Tracing vectors from low-resolution files can be improved.

Inkscape is helpful for light photo edits but mostly for designing any kind of vector graphics or making image overlays.

IT IS FREE!!!! It has all the features that competitors offer except the fancy AI features of Adobe Illustrator. Offers great support for SVG formats and now supports CMYK and RGB, which is a game changer for printing needs as well, so great integration. You can make anything you want quite easily.

Not the best support as fewer users so fewer online resources. There is still a bit of a learning curve to this as it is a professional software.

Making vector images for our marketing needs. Creating files that work for our school's products like shirts and other icons and logos that can be scaleable. I would say that I use this program a lot. It works well with Gimp too.

There is honestly not too much I do not like because I can easily export and use it for editing vector images.

Well, I guess it is more like my personal problems. Inkscape could be very difficult sometimes, and there is no much result online to teach me how I can do certain things with it.

No ocupa mucho espacio en memoria. Las herramientas son más parecidas a las queutilizan los otros software de diseño grágico, pero en InkScape es más ligero.
