Infor has strong competitors such as NetSuite, Dynamics, other applications. This is very useful for industrial applications. It is easy to learn, infor has built the most acceptable e-learning program in the small-to-medium-sized manufacturing space.

It is not helpful if you have a big organization and with multiple work locations and syteline is accessed using licenses for individuals

I like how flexible the software can be. I have worked now in two different departments handling the software in two different capacities and this system can be tailored to very specific needs

I do not like how the search feature works on forms and pages. You have to be trained how to search because it is not as simple as typing in a field and clicking enter

I use Syteline and the best thing about is that it is easy to use and that it gives access to people based on roles. I was not able to just open any kind of report, I needed permission for some.

I didn't like that sometimes it gets kind of slow and crashes kind of often.

It's excellent for resource planning for keeping purchase orders up to date. It lets you know when order are late.

Gives flexibility to run all parts of your business from CRM, Inventory, Shop floor, Purchasing, Order Entry with all integrated financials.

Complexity of implementation can be a challenge when having multiple locations.

Easy configuration of products. Has given complete visibility across all locations of inventory, backlog, cost of sales and profitability of different product lines.

Great manufacturing package. The integration between production jobs, customer orders, purchasing and gl is solid and traceable. Advances planing and scheduling is a great tool.

Reporting in Syteline is week. The stock reports aren't designed to download to excel nicely formatted

I like the ability to filter on every field within the database. I also like the ease of use in navigating within the dashboard.

I dislike some of the restrictions within the report writing tools.

We are utilizing Syteline in all phases from quoting to shipping and for every function in between. The benefit for us in using Syteline is that the entire organization is on that platform.

With the ability to filter/query on just about any field and export the resulting data to Excel, empowers end users with ability to generate their own reports. Along with add on products like workbenches, most data and report needs can be handled without the need for IT support.

There are still some performance issues with "Home" screens.

Know your internal procedures prior to implementation.

After running MRP for many years, we are implementing Finite APS to better control production and scheduling and to reduce lead times. In department where the implementation has been completed, tremendous improvements in scheduling and a reduction of lead times has been accomplished.

Finally a product that streamlines our orders to clients.

The only thing I dislike is we did not use this sooner.

It has a very simple but maximum professional service network and structure for accounting, shipping, warehouse, warehouse, sales, customer relations, document management and quality departments.
