Each year it gets better and better but you don't have to convert to the new stuff if you don't want to and can keep it "old skool" if you're not into lots of changes at the beginning of the year. I like the way you can enter assignments for multiple classes nowadays instead of having to do it all one by one (as it was in the past). I like all the different settings, like printing out rosters and blank spreadsheets. I probably do that at least once a week because I still like to fill in grades by hand on the paper and then transfer it in IC later. I like that the students can check what they're missing and as a parent, I use it to see what my son is missing and to easily record an absence. Calling on the phone is not fun compared to getting on the IC app.

Sometimes, as a teacher, I find it hard to distinguish where I am on the main menu. Am i in instruction or in student information ? Like, if I want a student's grade vs my gradebook...or I want to toggle back and forth it seems like I often get stuck in some type of netherworld where I can't get back to where I want to be or I can't figure out how I looked something up in the past. Sometimes it seems like my permissions suddenly disappear and I can't look student info up. When that happens, I have to close the program and then log in again. This isn't a problem when I'm in my classroom working alone, but if i have a lot of students in the room, this isn't ideal!

It helps me know when a student will be absent because even if I have a class the last period of the day, I can click on that class and student and it will show me if s/he has already been marked absent for the day. This can really help with planning (I.e. if I don't have to work with the one kid who doesn't speak English, then I can make plans to do something else with that extra time, with the rest of the class. I like that teachers/ admin/ parents/ and students can all see the same info for grades. It takes the guesswork out of how students are doing and it allows parents to be able to see if there child has homework.

I like that you can add other classes when inserting grade categories. This helps with saving time.

I dislike that I am unable to change my password without an administrator. Someone has hacked my Infinite Campus_ and deleted my grades. I like that Infinite Campus stored them in a different section of the software.

It has solved my problem of keeping my grades, and attendance in one place.

We can enter student attendance and absences in the system easily, as well as the schedules of different classes, when there are changes in schedules, students can be informed. It allows monitoring the behavior and performance of students, providing analysis and preventing late students from not graduating on time. Both students and parents have a portal to log in and view online grade books and final grades, so that they are aware of their performance at any time, in real time.

The software is very intuitive, but sometimes I find it cumbersome to enter final grades. That part should be a little more intuitive or automatic. Its interface could be a little cleaner and less chaotic, as sometimes so much information on the screen can become overwhelming. The task of searching for a student is not always easy, to tell the truth, they should put more search options, beyond the student's last name.

This software is ideal for companies that teach courses and want to keep order in the management of their learning, as well as for schools, to monitor the performance of students. It has served us wonderfully and we have had no major problems with the system, so we highly recommend it. This is a great software that has allowed us to achieve a better organization of all student records, saving us hours of work and unnecessary paperwork. Both administrators, students and parents have found the software very useful and easy to use.

We can easily organize in the system, everything related to students, grades, schedules and the best thing is that they themselves and their parents can enter the system and see their performance. It allows integration with learning management programs such as Google Classroom. Portal for parents and students, which allows them to view grades, schedules and all the information of their performance and evolution. It has a student analysis, which allows you to see which students are at risk of failing.

I love how infinite campus is a one-stop-shop for student records grading data, and it provides a way to print individualized results of each individual student.

One thing that very often gets on my nerves about infinite campus is the fact that every year the interface is changed and I have to relearn where everything is at in the program.

My daily life as a teacher is benefited from using infinite campus. I frequently use infinite campus to review data on my students to monitor their progress. I am also able to better communicate with the parents of my students because they also have access to student data.

Just about everything I need information on is easy to find. Some things can be blocked or open for specific users (maintains confidentiality well).

Some reports are difficult to find exactly what you are looking for. I would prefer that all reports have the option to print in CSV format and not just PDF.

This platform makes communicating with parents/guardians much more simplistic. They have easy access to attendance and grade information. Educators/administrators can directly email parents/guardians and have return emails go to a different email such as Gmail.

Infinite Campus is excellent for housing educational information such as personal info, rosters, attendance, data from assessments, and much more. It will run different reports to help you organize the data and is all housed in one place.

Sometimes it might be hard to find what report or filter you need to run a report. Also, there are a lot of choices on the software that make it more challenging to use.

Infinite campus is an easy platform to use and houses everything in one convenient spot. It's a great tool for grading grading rosters reports and keeping attendance.

We partner with many SIS providers and IC is so easy and friendly to work with. Also, as a parent user, it is easy to find information about my students.

What I like about IC is that it has so many features and data points. You can also have certain access levels, so only some people have access to certain things which really helps protect student privacy.

I dislike that sometimes you have to go a roundabout way to do a search or to view specific information. I have to have it on a specific view to see what the primary language spoken is, for example. I also dislike that you have to select a certian school 'calendar' to view the student's schedule.

It's a great product. It takes a little bit to get the hang of using it, but once you've used it for a while it just comes as second nature and is pretty intuitive.

For my department, I am mainly using IC to Search students to verify or find specific information like address, household members or to view their schedules. The main benefit of this is that it helps me complete Educational Benefit applications more accurately and efficiently.

Student search can be a little difficult if you do not know how to spell a student's last name. Information needs to be regularly maintained and updated. Printing and downloads take multiple steps.

With an entire school district we can keep student information in one place throughout the students career in the district from year to year. Staff can look up information as needed instantly.
