Our global offices can share assets easily and quickly. The portal is straightforward to navigate.
We are reliant on our own staff (which can have a high turnover) to tag correctly to utilise the portal in the best way.

The platform has enabled us to move into a more cloud based infrastructure, allowing us to collaborate with other partners across the globe with ease, and taking away some of the headaches that existed with delivering footage previously.
The platform is more based around larger assets being used rather than single smaller files. This has meant a secondary solution for general shoots (which we already had in place).

We have purchased the Imagen solution at the end of last year and are close to the end of our configuration and migration phase. The Imagen team have been flexible and professional throughout the whole RFP process, contacting process, adapting to our complex administrative procedures. They have also gone out of there way to find solutions to the various roadblocks we have encountered, particularly when it came to migrating our existing content.

Takers might find it a bit click heavy if they're downloading lots of content - only a very minor issue though!
We are able to distribute all of the elements for a live broadcast and all of our post produced content from one platform which is easily navigable. Everything being centralised and visible is ideal for rights holders and saves masses of extra work for our team
The support staff are always ready and waiting when needed. The user interface provides our end users with a clean and easy way to find and download content from across the globe. We were also able to adapt the Imagen interface to satisfy multiple use cases for distributing content to both our external user base as well as several internal users from around the globe.
The development cycles for new features can sometimes take longer than desired
We utilize Imagen to distribute our VOD content to international licensees.
Within the Royal Air Force we had a number of challenges in storing and accessing media content. After extensive research we began our discussions with Imagen and found the personnel to be very helpful in understanding our aims. The software is a game changer in the way that we store and search for content across the whole force. The ongoing support from the simplest of questions to some specific needs have all been responded to quickly and professionally.
Not much. Some of the back end Admin areas could do with review to make it more user-friendly for admins. Perhaps some more support videos around various features would be useful too.
Three problems:
1. Content stored on multiple devices across the RAF
2. Content not catalogued and not accessible (no easy way to find / not accessible outside of military systems)
3. Same content recreated by disparate groups as they were not aware it was already available
All three problems have now been resolved, with a much larger user base interacting with content on a daily basis.

The ability to media log files on the platform has made it easier for PAC12 schools to search and download files. The user-friendly platform has taken a load off of our production departments which in the past would send files to our schools manually. Account Managers and Support Teams are always available.
It would be beneficial to be able to migrate media logs to Imagen from 3rd party MAM systems.
Files are downloaded and accessible to us much quicker. The media logging function allows us to download clips instead of bulk files. The ability to download and send clips outside our organization using AFD.
