Not only is ImageRelay helping us organize thousands of photos and video, it has a great interface and provides a nice user experience for our clients. The DAM itself is excellent, it is thoughtfully designed and the capabilities are exactly what we needed to host so many assets in one place. But the onboarding is the most important piece here. It was the best I've ever experienced. James, our librarian, was thorough, kept us accountable with "homework" and migration road maps, and always had an answer or solution for our road blocks.
I appreciated his support throughout the process because moving data and organizing it is overwhelming and exhausting, and found him to be incredibly valuable. He was patient, persistent (in a good way to keep the project moving amidst other projects and roadblocks), and very knowledgeable on best practices and working through use cases. This makes SUCH A DIFFERENCE in experience.
I've used other companies where they reel you in, then literally throw you in, and forget about you. Not the case with IR and James Fox. 5 stars, 10/10 would recommend for onboarding through the data migration phase alone.
The price is significant, but hoping the DAM organization creates consistency across the brand/globe.
We have so many product images and assets, and were using Dropbox to share with clients and distributors, which was overwhelming. Folders were getting deleted and moved, images were disappearing, and we had little knowledge who was accessing our information. Now we have eyes on who is utilizing resources, which are most used, and more insight/oversight into how we share.
The simplicity of Image Relay is exactly what my team needed. With the onslaught of new tech and software to learn, taking on a new DAM was daunting, but IR made the implementation straight foward and worked to customize what we needed. They're customer service was supberb with quick replies. Uploading has been an easy process with bulk uploading and tags along with good speeds. Downloading has been good with the different formats and sizes for images and videos. The overall value for the features was exactly what we needed.
THe very few little things that have caught my eye have been when bulk downloading there is a lag of up to 5 minutes to get the zip file link through email, though sometimes it's been almost instaneous. The A.I. tags both are great and off. I guess this is to be expected as it is pointing everything out in an image. I'd really love for their to be a A.I. tagging feature for videos, but as you probably know from doing DAM research, that's a time and process intensive feature and so the very few brands that offer it are charging a lot $ for that feature per minute of video.
Storing photo, video, and branding assets. Utilizing them for content creation within my team and sharing them out to users.
Allows tags, easy to use, seemless user integration.
Yet to find a single thing that is wrong with this program.
Large image assets need to be passed along to others and the storage limits prevent this.
If you are a social media manager you have to use this platform. It out competes all other data management competitors on the market. I've been able to leverage Image Relay to create a process for sourcing user generated content that makes it efficient enough to publish 365 days out of the year.
In the last 2.5 years our brands organic social media has been able to outperform much larger outdoor industry competitors because it minimizes the time it takes to acquire content. It's as simple as sending a link, communicating your objective and executing your plan.
There isn't an affordable price point offering for smaller buisnesses and independent contractors to buy in at. If you had a larger sample size of social media managers like myself using the platform, i'm confident your buisness would pick up, and your platform would grow. Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive, and all other comparable services make it extremely challenging to aquire content. It's a massive hurtle for someone in my position.
Image Realy allows me to instantly communicate my content aquisition goals, and immediately recieve the content . It's difficult for professional photographers, videographers, or everyday people to send you what they've captured. Whether it's on their phone or on their desktop, Image Relay has changed the game.
The upload link feature is critical. I can easily walk someone through the process and while I'm on the phone talking to them, I can explain the process, and what the content populate in an organized folder. Everytime I walk someone through my process they comment on how easy it is. I struggled with aquiring content through Dropbox or Google Drive before I learned how to use the feature.
There are many helpful aspects about Image Relay, but the few I'd like to highlight are our onboarding process, the customized tagging and the user interface.
Our onboarding process was extremely smooth, welcoming and comprehensive. Image Relay had conversations with us to understand our needs and tailor our membership. They were thoughtful about which features would serve us best and we feel very supported in using Image Relay in a flexible manner going forward.
Being able to tag images and videos is perfect for non profit events and campaigns. It is easy to tag things and come back to them without feeling disorganized. As a member of the communications team, I use Image Relay weekly if not daily.
Lastly, the interface is extremely user friendly, so interns and consultants alike have no trouble accessing shared folders and finding the content they need in a timely manner.
Honestly, I have not experienced a feature of Image Relay that has not been helpful.
Streamlining the process of keeping digital assets organized, easily identifiable and sharable.
Image Relay's secure database has been incredibly useful with our industry standards. Logging in via SSO has made it easy for us to share materials internally and with our customers. Having customizable folders for different users is very helpful.
We also appreicate the ability to sort and archive materials with tags and metadata; which has made our library accessible to different divisions and branches within our organization. This has become a well-integrated feature for our marketing team to share materials.
The usefulness of downloading high-quality imagery is also another great feature. Being able to easily share and distribute photographs and graphics without sacrificing quality is very important.
Kickoff and initial implementation has been effortless, allowing employees to access the databases with ease. The Image Relay team has helped us tremendously, and the customer support has been more than adequate with any integration issues we faced. Many of our employees use Image Relay weekly.
We have not encountered many things that we dislike about Image Relay. It really has been a great and useful tool for our company. I wouldn't mind being able to manually organize/drag photographs for a more curated folder.
Our company did not have a great solution for archiving approved imagery. Our servers did not have the ability to add searchable metadata or previews of imagery. We greatly appreciate the ability to seek imagery for distribution.
Image Relay makes finding assets extremely easy. With our previous system, our team was spending too much time looking for photos and assets. With Image Relay, everything is organized and easily searchable.
We also love the quick link function. We can easily and efficiently send assets from our library to anyone, inside and outside of the company.
The initial setup is time-consuming when you have a lot to upload but it is worth it to take the time and organize your library from the very beginning. Our librarian was very helpful with this step.
Image Relay solves the problem of wasted time looking for photos and assets. Since switching to Image Relay, our team has spent less time looking for assets and more time using them. We are overall more productive and complete work faster.
It's easy to navigate and manage. Searching and filtering is quite poweful. Very easy to train others in using it. Collections feature extremely useful. Responsive customer support.
Only admins can make changes/updates to image metadata/tags. Lacks drag and drop file management.
Our library used to consist of folders on a server. Image Relay brought metadata and tagging to the table. It immediately helped us organize our vast library of images.
Image relay is robust allowing our team a variety of ways to use our thousands of images for both marketing and sales. The platform is also very intuitive and easy to use which is helpful when you are working with large teams. We've seamlessly integrated the program with tools we use regularly such as canva which is a huge help. The customer support team is great - we actually switched to Image Relay from one of their competitors because of the customer service.
We've been using it for about eight months and have no complaints.
Our company is a design firm that has thousands of images that need to be used for both marketing and sales. Before switching to Image Relay from GoogleDrive we were not able to tap into the full potential of our own assets.

I love how organized Image Relay allows you to be! It's a great solution for companies to get on the same page and have endless amounts of storage! Image Relay allows you to easily upload items and send them out in a very organized way. I like that you get emailed and alerted when someone uses an upload link that you have created. It's a great way to store working photoshop files so anyone can go in and change something that needs to be changed.
I haven't really run into anything I dislike with Image Relay, it's a part of my daily routine to use. I have yet to run into any problems with Image Relay and the support staff is readily available to troubleshoot if you do need assistance.

We had storage issues before using Image Relay and the upload link function is AMAZING. It's so helpful for outside photographers to use and when sharing images with others you can offer a simple link to direct them to an entire collection.
