IFTTT is very simple to use, even if you have a limited coding background. It's interface is user-friendly and clearly labeled. IFTTT allows me to automate simple tasks, such as copying new calendar events from one calendar to another or automatically backing up photos to another service. IFTTT runs seamlessly in the background daily despite the fact that I don't even have to think about it.

I have no major complaints about IFTTT. They sometimes have had limited connection options, but we've always been able to find a solution.

IFTTT allows us to spend less time on routine administrative tasks. Our applets allow us to remain synced across calendars and avoid double-bookings.

Great software with easy setup and a limitless number if integration capabilities.

Nothing as of yet, the pricing is more than fair and the integrations are easy to set up and just work..

After booking IFTTT imports clients to our Google contact list for use with MailChimp, auto posts to our Facebook page about the booking, and so much more.

We have integrations with our vehicle GPS for tracking mileage, expenses, etc.

I can almost automate anything easily I required to do without the knowledge of coding. It provides great, fast and useful automations option at such a low pricing.

Recently pricing of IFTTT is increased and amount of applets we can create and advanced options are more restricted now, there should be few more options available in lower plans.

I can automate most of my common business tasks which not only reduce time consumption but also the cost.

It automates many tasks when and how I need them done for me so that I do not have to. It integrates with many of the platforms I use with what is called an "applet". Having the tasks done for me is like having an assistant. I can even have it call me if a certain thing happens with an automated voice that is programmable with what not to say. Easy to use as it takes you through step-by-step via a setup wizard for each applet that you create.

I believe that Zapier is their main competitor. While IFTTT is a whole bunch cheaper, they are missing a few that I wish they had (e.g. Shopify/Microsoft). While they are really competitive in price, they need to become more competitive with integrations.

- It is integrated with my Google Calendar. I have it call me when certain types of events are scheduled.

- If I receive an order from a freelancer website, then it immediately calls me and creates both a calendar entry and a task entry.

- The images that get posted to my social media profiles are automatically backed up on Google Drive or Dropbox.

Ability to execute specific code and create integration between different services without needing personal hardware.

Ability to execute complex bespoke commands in real-time with a button tap on a smartphone.

IFTTT may be limited by API access of services.

Shortcuts (by Apple), Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, and Feedly provide different levels of access.

Access to service may be behind a paywall (on the services end).

Different digital services require integration.

Integrating, migrating, and automating tasks across various services is vital for repetitive tasks.

I enjoy being able to cross connect just about any service out there to create automation workflows across just about any service out there.

I wish there was a more developer-centric interface available for general advanced users to be able to create custom formulas and actions beyond what has already been provided. It doesn't happen often, but I sometimes find a service lacks an obvious function but there is no way to manually add them.

Being able to move notifications between services in a predictable and programmatic automated manner.

I like the ease of use, especially for automations that are already set up.

Sometimes the features can feel a little limited for more complex automations.

If you're looking for an easy-to-use solution for automations that aren't super custom this is a great tool.

I really like tracking my fitbit goals in a spreadsheet and seeing my weekly progress.

I love that i can use this app to send me a reminder to bring an umbrella with me before I leave for work or it can help make two separate apps with no ability to communicate suddenly work together to perform tasks like posting across social media

I wish there was an actual piece of hardware I could keep in my house to run these tasks across all of my devices

I'm able to ensure i'm better prepared for the day ahead & I'm also able to save time by automating parts of my workflow
