I like the easy to use interface and compatibility with both PC and mobile devices. I can have my soft token on my phone which is always with me. User maintenance is easy with the online portal. We really like the security it offers us and being able to tell clients that we protect their information with such a system really helps them see that we are security minded. This allows us to add a benefit that other competitors do not offer.
The service is somewhat cumbersome if you have to reset a soft token, but by completing a few steps it works well every time. They could improve this process by not making you go to two different websites to reset tokens and assign them to new users.
Try to integrate as many of your systems as you can. The more you use the product that more benefit you will receive from it. It is always more cost effective to use soft tokens vs hardware tokens. One thing to keep in mind is that a user can only have one token assigned at a time.
We needed better security when accessing our client data. We have 50 techs that all need access to client passwords and data. 2FA with Authanvil allows us to provide better security to that area of our business. We also are using the password vault to keep passwords and other client data stored for easy access.
2 Factor works in every situation we've encountered.
SSO in the earlier product requires a lot of tinkering, but they are blowing the doors off that in the latest release.
Being able to assemble a security perimeter around all the technologies that you build your business on.
Ability to securely store passwords and secure information.
The user interface is a little hard to navigate.
To centrally store clients secure information and have it accessible anywhere.
I like the 2FA application, especially with the new AA on demand coming out. I find that the application is easy to use and understand and will even be easier with the new version out.
The password server is challenging from the administrative standpoint, passwords take too long to input.
Make sure you set everything up using best practices from the beginning and you will save yourself time in the long run.
The main reason we have implemented the solution is to secure our internal systems and bring us up to compliance. Now at this point we are beginning to do the same for our clients.
Authanvil is a flexible and well-engineered tool for managing and simplifying login security, including password management, auditing, and deploying Single-sign-on.
Authanvil has a steep learning curve on implementation and maintenance, but that is normal in a newer technical offering.
provide two-factor authentication for programs that do not have sufficient built-in security
provide login auditing where not provided otherwise
force password complexity for users who cannot remember their own passwords
The thing I like best about AuthAnvil is the security it provides us. I feel confident storing and managing our passwords with the Password Server and it makes it easy to restrict access to sensitive resources with the Two Factor Authentication.
I wish there was a full SAAS solution for Auth Anvil. The solution is great, but the added complexity to our environment to manage it is less than desirable.
We are securing sensitive information and access to sensitive internal resources. The password server secures sensitive password data and the Two Factor Authentication makes it easy to secure access to internal systems.
The think I like the most is that it is really easy to use, most times if you have ease of use, you sacrifice security, but that isn't the case at all. We use it for passwords and we also provide it as a cloud service to our clients for passwords. The password vault also has awesome and detailed reports available so we can know in seconds everything we need to know about who has accessed or what can be accessed.
I think the think I dislike the most is in the 2FA manager, there is no way to organize the tokens/users that have been set up. It would be nice to be able to create a hierarchical structure as we have many clients that use our 2FA.
The only recommendation is to follow the best practices outlined by Scorpion, it makes configuration, support, everything much easier.
Password management used to be a big problem with us and our clients. Too many different tools or spreadsheets. AAPS allowed us to consolidate it all in one place and secure it for different people.
AuthAnvil is a powerful yet easy to configure system that give you full 2 factor authorization
Sometimes the phone app doesn't work properly and you have to re-request a password.
Great product to secure your own systems as well as providing the option to help your customers secure their systems.
2 factor auth. needed for PCI compliance for remote access to customers systems. Also use in house for extra security of our internal systems.
Single product that fills several needs.
Does take some time to implement and get up to speed.
Meeting security requirements in HIPAA environments.

I like how checking whether the credentials are being compromised or not along with the SSO features.
None so far, for now, seems all good and I can't think as of the moment.
The problem solution here is, that whenever users login to multiple devices/applications SSO helps so much with these features.
