Hustle is easy to use, easy to train new users on, and has responsive customer service. It's highly preferable to other comparable peer to peer texting solutions.
Hustle is a startup, and is sometimes a little slow to fix bugs.
We are solving so many issues relating to communication, and we have seen employees freeing up time because of the efficiency of this app.
I can get through my contacts SUPER FAST. You can text like 5,000 people in like 10 minutes.
It's a bit more expensive than the other texting apps out there. And it's a little annoying that you can't set up the goal and complete the goal in the same browser. We had some issues putting a link in a text and sometimes I feel like I don't have enough characters to get my point across
It is the fastest Texting App available. GroundBase is nice, and definitely cheaper, but it's not nearly as fast as Hustle AND they recently updated everything so that you can text people even faster.
We can talk to our massive database of people and interact with them and answer any questions they have about registering to vote, or the process of voting quickly and effectively. We work with young voters, so a lot of time they aren't voting because they don't know how, so it's an easy way for us to help them.
Hustle is a great way to send lots of texts very quickly to large audiences. It's easy to use as a team, and they also make responding to messages simple and effective. Honestly, it's just easy to use and will send texts so much quicker than similar text messaging apps.
It's more expensive than other texting apps, and it's sometimes frustrating to set up goals. This is because you have to open a second browser in order to set up a goal and work on the goal at the same time. Also, there is a limit to how much you can fit in the text, and you can't put a full link in the text either.
If you can afford it and want to make texting quick and easy, it's worth it.
Hustle just saves a LOT of time. Compared to other texting apps, it's worth the price because of all the time saved.
This was an incredible platform for a grassroots political campaign. Easy to activate text campaigns, simple interface for volunteers, and fantastic support for admins.
Price–certainly one of the most expensive platforms for peer-to-peer engagement.
Fantastic tool if your organization or company has the budget to implement this.
Hustle enabled our grassroots campaign for a ballot measure. While an incredible platform for peer-to-peer texting, the price might not be preferred for non-profit organizations.
I have used Hustle for a couple of years in my position, and it is an easy tool for volunteer recruitment.
Creating the list can sometimes be difficult when the lists take a long time to integrate from EveryAction.
I think Hustle is a simple, easy-to-use app for people to recruit attendees and volunteers for various events.
Hustle is a great app to consistently connect with our members to invite them to events and various trainings that our organization hosts.
This program makes it so easy to communicate with out constituents without having to use our own phones. Great resource for volunteers to use
The search feature to go back and look at past conversations is lacking. You must remember their name in order to find the conversation- and it must be exact.
Make sure you make the goals accurately, they are difficult to fix, but the system itself is really helpful.
This has saved us from using our own phones and allowed us to implement volunteers to reach out. It has been incredibly well received from our participants.
We all know email is diminishing returns in the advocacy, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising game - and fewer and fewer folks are sending their phones. Text is our present, and being able to easily set up a campaign and set volunteers up with it is amazing. More and more folks are used to hustle texts so the awkwardness is diminishing.
You can either set it to "first come first served" or equally delegate hustles, you can't switch mid campaign or, at least that I could find, jump in and take over or take away a line of hustles from someone. I also couldn't really figure out how to send the campaign to a second round. This things might be possible, but it's not easy to find.
Volunteer recruitment, voter contract, and updating our lists. Folks who have used hustle, love it. It's got lots of long-term potential.
The easy use to text for my volunteers. It is pretty self-explanatory for them.
I wish the reporting was better. It is still lacking in my view on data that I wish to pull. I also don't like that it switches the phone # that I put in for people to call and makes it a routing #. That is not helpful when I am trying to drive calls to a legislator. Also messages get sent out of order and in many different texts.
Be sure to compare with other texting products and make sure this is the best one for your uses.
Contacting large amounts of people has never been easier, especially when you're looking for 1-on-1 connections.

I love how easy it is to mass text in a matter of minutes, and I can even personalize messages.
There's not much to dislike - maybe if I didn't have to hit Send every time?
As a volunteer, I can easily engage in advocacy campaigns and feel like I'm making a significant impact.
