User-friendly Interface, Efficient Scheduling and Shift Management, Reliable Customer Support, Extensive Reporting and Analytics
Mobile App Functionality Issues, Occasional System Bugs and Glitches, Limited Customization Options, Inconsistent Integration with Third-Party Platforms
Humanity, a cloud-based workforce management solution, has received mixed reviews from users. Many appreciate its user-friendly interface, mobile app, and robust scheduling and time tracking features. However, some users have expressed concerns regarding its customer support, pricing, and occasional technical glitches. The overall sentiment is that Humanity is a capable tool for managing employee schedules and time, but it could benefit from improvements in customer service and affordability.

Humanity is an easy software to learn. I like that it can be used for multiple locations and inculde different position. I also like that it can keeo track of employees clock in / breaks and clock out.
I recently learn that task can be attached to specific position. I am lookinf forward in using this with your team.
Customer service is excellent and easy to contact 24/7 ( considering we also work in a 24/7 environement).
Humanity is a software I use on a daily basis and it is quick to lear how it works and adapt it to our team.
You cannot be part of two different Teams!
Hoping to add an undo button when modification are done to an already published schedule.
Helping us plan our team schedule, easy to view everything together
What I like most about Humanity is it's visual design and the advanced auto fill function. It is easy to read at a glance and the functions I use most often are easy to get to in the UI.
I would like to see Humanity become a little more responsive, especially when dragging and dropping shifts. This is a noticeable issue even when using a wired internet connection with speeds up to 1gbit.
The biggest problem I have in my role is the amount of time it takes to set up schedules that involve multiple sites in which several employees work at more than one. Some employees out of site A, B, C, and D may work at site A and B, B and C, or A, C, and D. Figuring out the best way to utilize everyone in these areas takes a lot longer to do manually. Even though Humanity's shift auto fill function doesn't give me a "perfect" result, it still gives me an excellent foundation to start with in about a minute or so.
Humanity has a simple approach to schedule making that takes the stress out of it. With Humanity's features, you're able to see everything at a glance, thus giving you the ability to drill down where you need, quickly.
I would like to see more integrations options with Toast POS.
I can make an accurate schedule in under 1 hour, without worrying later about whether or not I scheduled the correct coverages or availability needs of my staff. Humanity gives me peace of mind.
The best thing about TCP is it is very easy to access and notify you time to time about your upcoming shifts and the so many features tell you about many things.
According to me there is nothing now that I dislike about TCP humanity. once I faced freezing of the humanity but it resolved easily.
The easily navigation of scedule is the main and best problem solving. it benifits us by reminding our scedule by date, time and place of the shift so that person can see the address and time of shift without any delay.
It is very easy to use and user friendly. Support is also always available.
It could get a bit buggy sometimes but rarely. Example, It can just hover over a shift already made and duplicate it by itself.
Easy to get the shifts on time for the staff and use reports on latesz absences really easy.
I like how easy it is to schedule shifts, how responsive and helpful the support team is, and the mobile app that makes it simple for our employees to see when they have a shift. I use it constantly. I like the customizability for use in multiple departments.
The pricing is a little steep. Also, I don't like how long it took to get some of the features back in New Shift Planning that were already implemented in old shift planning. I wish we could turn of features that we're not using, such as the payroll feature, and would like to be able to have a shift repeat in perpetuity rather than only until a certain date. These are minor issues though overall.
It is making it easy for people to tell where they and others are supposed to be and when, which helps us work more efficiently. It also makes the schedule shorter to make which saves me time to work on other things.
I like that there is one central place for all of the schedules and updating the employees profiles
I wish there was an easier way of deleting unused shifts each week, rather than going in and individually deleting each one
It is helpful to have one central location to be able to schedule shifts each week for my employees
I like how easy it is to put in unavailability. I've used other scheduling systems that make it somewhat difficult. Humanity is simple enough that you can plug it in quickly. Also, I really like the "all day" check-box when plugging in unavailability. This makes it much quicker than having to manually set times if I know I'll be unavailable all day.
I like the visual display of shifts and color coding for different locations that I work at.
I like that I can use it on a website. My previous job made me download HotSchedules on my phone, which was annoying. I prefer to use my computer when I can.
The new ShiftPlanning menu seems a bit unnecessary. It looks the same as the Legacy menu, but you see everyone's schedule by default. In the Legacy menu, there's still an option to see other people's schedule, so I don't see why it's necessary to see everyone's schedule by default. I hope the Legacy ShiftPlanning menu doesn't go away.
It's a convenient place to see my schedule, see other people's schedule if I want, and release and pick up shifts. Basically everything I need for scheduling. Much better than HotSchedules.
Humanity is very user friendly! It makes scheduling, communication, and tracking very easy for an ever-changing staff. It also provides a clock-in/out feature, which allows me to track employees when I'm not in the building. The app is very helpful for remote supervision, as well!
The only part of Humanity that I don't love is the availability piece. I think it is a little bit confusing, and it has presented issues in the past. I no longer use it, and just keep a record of my employee's availability (we have a small staff of 10, so it isn't a big deal).
TCP Humanity Scheduling allows me to schedule and keep track of time. We use it in a university setting, where our HR system does not offer a scheduling component. Humanity has been an affordable and easy way for me to track schedules and hours, which are then cross checked to our HR system when employees submit their timesheets for payroll.

I love the versitality of TCP Humaity Scheduling, the many fuctions it offers and the support is top notch. I love that I can color code different departments to make it more appealing and easier to find a department scheduling needs. Humanity also puts open available shifts at the top so you can see where your holes are in scheduling. The fact that it calculates the time and adjust to daylight savings time with the hours makes payroll so much easier. The reports you can run help a lot, especailly the reports for attendance and late summary.
The support is top notch, if I have a question on how to do something they answer and help in a timely manner and also put in suggestions if they don't have that capability yet.
The downside for me and my company is the fact that the app is different depending on the phone you have. The app on the apple phone will let you leave a note while the app on the samsung/google phone will not let you leave a note and the accuracy of the map/clock in locations is different with each platform of the app.
It allows us to see where we have holes in our scheduling that needs to be filled. As it puts the open shifts front and center, so we do not have to go about sorting through the whole entire day of scheduling. I love the flexibility that workers can realease their shift and it goes out to all who are eligible to work that shift/department.
