I like the presentation of the emails and also knowledge provided after the quiz.
Nothing in particular as I see all the details are informative.
It helps on the security aspect like phishing etc
Hoxhunt is completely integrated in Outlook. It is very easy to mark an item as dangerous, but the real strength comes from the training programme. Where other solutions use AI to detect malicious mails, hoxhunt instead strengthens the pattern recognition of the HUMAN by sending fake mails. The way it gameifies the learning process makes it very efficient. Using Hoxhunt in the workplace also gives benefits in my private life.
When starting out with hoxhunt, I had certain filters set up already for spam. Some training mails were therefore not seen by my, at least not in time to get 3 golden stars. I also missed out on some mails when on a holiday I did not put in my agenda properly. These were the only annoying things in the ebginning of using hoxhunt.
Hoxhunt protects me as a person, rather than protecting my devices. I take what I learnt home with me. I myself become better at detecting bad emails, rather than depending on an algorithm to put something in junk items.
Give insights and tips to detect a cyber attack or phishing email. Ease of Use; Ease of Implementation
Cannot really name anything that I dislike.
Giving more information on ways an attacker could reach me and try gain my data .
It is a learning platform which is like a game,
you become surprised like video games.
nothing to say, it was comprehensive so far.
It reminds me about security concerns and how it is important to be aware of cyber attacks.
Hoxhunt had the great idea to gamify spam and phishing protection for business. To me and all my colleagues it is not annoying anymore to receive the occasional testmailings from IT Sec. Everyone enjoys to battle in reporting the phishing mails and reaching a higher score than their coworkers.
the timeframe for a missed mailing should be increased as I cannot stand to drop in the highscore list during a vacation :P
it raises awareness for malicious mailings which is benefitting for our IT Security
The "fake" email scenarios presented by Hoxhunt are realistic. They cause me to have to pay attention to any emails I see that i suspect might be a test, which also causes me to do a double-take on real emails that are potentially dangerous.
I don't know that I really dislike this about using Hoxhunt but, knowing that these phony emails will be coming in on occasion makes me even question messages that are completely legit - like password resets, etc. In fact, I sent a note to the person that sent the email intriducing the survey to find out how I can tell that it was legit.
As far as the application itself, I find it very easy to use and thorough in terms of explaining the items in fake emails that we should have caught to know that an email is phishing. The thing I like about Hoxhunt's approach is that it is more experiential - providing "training" through the use of specific examples that make the training content more real. I have sat through other training in the past on this same topic. Just going through training does not guarantee that I am going to retain all of the information provided by just me reading it or having it presented to me. Going through specific examples that exemplify the content and key points to watch out for is a much more effective way to understand the things we should be watching out for on these dangerous emails.
It's fun to be on the lookout for suspicious emails and extra fun when you find one and get recognized for submitting it.
Can't think of anything to recommend - sorry!
Makes me feel like my company is doing something to protect us from cyber crime.
I find the application Hoxhunt very efficient and safe.I like the fact that you receive direct emails to identify a cyber fraud.
At the moment I have not found anything that is not convenient for me abot the app.
It helps me identify potential personal data thieves and protects my devices from potential viruses.
Hoxhunt simulates a variety of cyber security attacks which have the potential of breaching data and causing massive losses to a company.
Earning stars is sometimes time consuming when you have several questions to answer at a go.
Consistent education to make internet users vigilant of potential cyber security threats.
