When someone needs to call out, they can have others pick up the shift, and the shift does not struggle by a call out or no show.
PROS: With HotSchedules, I can easily access my work schedule and if there are last-minute changes made, even while I'm attending classes at school.
CONS: I'd like to see my colleagues’ schedules in a simpler format.
PROS: It shares my available hours and notifies me about my shift assignments. I can also see my colleagues' contact information and what they're working on with me in real time.
CONS: It would be better if the app were free and more adaptable to mobile devices. We could also use a more intuitive website and notifications for available shifts we can pick up.
PROS: My highlight HotSchedules feature is the notes tool that lets me add notes about my or my fellow managers' shifts. You can also use it as a reference when you need to settle staffing concerns.
CONS: We could use more streamlining when it comes to the daily printout schedule.
PROS: I've been a HotSchedules user for several years. I love that it's designed so well that you can see your schedule, who else is on the same shift and who isn't. Staff communications are now so easy because everyone's contact information is there.

PROS: Because of the messaging feature that enables email and text notifications and shows colleague's contact information, it's so easy to show my availability and communicates with the team.
CONS: I'd love to receive notifications when a shift is released and is up for grabs.
Simplicity of design and operation. This functionality needs to be easy for a restaurateur to operate and they do this in spades.
