The app itself is pretty easy and all the employees have no trouble using, as I input timesheets the Homebase features make it super easy process payroll.
Nothing really. I would love to bee able to add employee Id # to an employee profile.
Makes remote payroll easy, don't have to go into the actual building. Makes it easy to see employees on the clock without being present.
There's a lot to love about homebase. The website and app are extremely user-friendly. Perhaps my two favorite parts about the app are the ability for my staff to request time off via the app, and to trade or cover shifts. I was getting several texts the day, and this is much less invasive.
I personally only use it as a digital schedule for the staff, but the fact that you can use it as a clock in system is amazing.

I was getting several texts a day about shift covers, shift, swaps, time off request, etc. The notifications for this app I feel are much less invasive and I can take my time responding to them and I feel less stressed on my days off.
It also has eliminated the need to post a paper schedule, as I can just post in the app and everyone can see it easily on their phone.
And since the staff can do their time off, request via the app, I can easily find it on the website, rather than having to search through my texts to see who requested days off.
The communication aspect. I can reach out to whomever whenever. There are places for shout outs, group announcements, and individual messaging
Clock in is very pinpointed so it makes it hard sometimes. Also it doesn't always allow them to clock in if not schedule inspite of having it as an option.
