Harvest's expense tracking function is what I appreciate best about it; it makes managing the costs of my projects so much easier and allows me to rapidly enter, categorize, and provide comprehensive financial reports.

The UI might occasionally get a little cluttered when managing numerous users and assigning particular tasks while working on large projects with various collaborators.

Harvest helps me efficiently track and manage my time. By automatically creating bills based on time and expenses that are tracked, it not only makes invoicing simpler but also increases time management efficiency and transparency, which boosts my productivity and increases customer satisfaction.

Once you get your projects set up, the browser extension makes keeping up with adding your time easy and less daunting and - honestly - less annoying! It's awesome to look back and see where your time is spent and we use the total budget feature to help us not spend too much time on a project.

Really nothing. If I had to say something it would be that it seems sometimes I have to make someone a manager to see all projects instead of just added to the project but that might be user error.

Harvest is helping us collect more data on where our time is being spent so we can better price our work and figure our inefficiencies.

Time capture, budget adherence, and scope creep

We've tried a lot of time management and estimating software, and this was by far our favourite. I've been able to train staff of all ages on the software quickly and efficiently. The ability to have clients pay through their invoices is seamless.

We've had issues with estimate numbers going out of order - but customer service was quick to assist with the issue.

Staff tracks hours to a specific monthly invoice. We also estimate and invoice through Harvest affectively. We're able to do both within one platform, which cuts down on time switching between a Time Tracking app and invoicing.

The integration with JIRA tools allows tremendous and easy time sheet entry and then invoicing. Great for creating estimates also

Just got to remember to change the billing code; otherwise, you need to adjust it in your timesheet if it is incorrectly set

What I love the most about Harvest is the easy feature of keeping track of time on Projects, set budget limits per project and then proceed to easy invoicing at month end.

There may be some features missing and could be added.

I use Harvest to manage the profitability of projects and also to keep track of time and materials task that will require invoicing at the end of the month.

I have been using Harvest for 8 years now and I love the tool. It is easy to use and integrates easily with other tools. It allows you to track the hours spent on each task in a project. I like the UI/UX it is done. The tool is easy to use.

What I don't like about Harvest is the options for sending notifications or reports. I find the tool a bit too simple at times and would like to have more flexibility

To know the use of hours per project and the output of the project. Also allows you to easily manage a team and their use or who has worked on such a project. Report for client.

Harvest is easy to use and very powerful so there really isn't any concerns.

How we bill our clients and managing capacity within our team, saves us time and money. It has also made us more productive in the sense that we have a consolidated overview of each team member and where they might need assistance.

So easy to use. Allows us to track time easily to create project-specific invoices and send them to Quickbooks.

I wish the recurring and retainer invoices could be shared with quickbooks for better cash flow planning.
