Basically, there isno such disadvantage of hackerrank. It's just that they need to add one feature where hackerrank could easily stop the candidate to attempt the test from the similar email address if that email address has been previosuly captured. This will avoid the cheating and save interviewer time too.
The majority problem is they solve for me to assess the candidate. In coding perspective hackerrank will assess easily who is the best and who is poor also even if candidate copy the code they would fly a flagged where we just have to neglect the candidate. It affects the smooth and beneficial to over all tech interview process.
