Great product and customer service

What do you like best about GoReact?

We have been using GoReact for over 5 years now. Very intuitive and easy to use; works on any device and across platforms; time-stamped feedback in multiple media (text, video, audio). Customer service is superb and provide assistance for faculty and students; great library of support resources.

What do you dislike about GoReact?

There's nothing to dislike, really. All features and performance meet our expectations.

What problems is GoReact solving and how is that benefiting you?

Student-teacher supervisors can observe more teacher candidates; saves time (and money) for travel; time-stamped feedback allows for more targeted and detailed feedback; and allows for multiple stakeholders (teachers, supervisors, peers) to provide feedback.

GoReact for win in these times of virtual learning

What do you like best about GoReact?

The ease of use and the help guides that are great to navigate. They make it easy for me to send the links to people with questions or download the PDFs and send those.

What do you dislike about GoReact?

So far I have not found anything to really dislike. Their guides are so great it makes using it easy.

Recommendations to others considering GoReact?

I have recommended this product to multiple people at different higher education institutions to help with their observations issues.

What problems is GoReact solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are doing virtual observations of candidates in the classroom. The submit a video of a lesson and it allows not only the teacher to grade it but allows for peer commentary.

Great for pre-service teachers!

What do you like best about GoReact?

I love that I can customize the experience to fit the needs of my course and my students. It's such a wonderful way for students give and recieve feedback.

What do you dislike about GoReact?

Sometimes I find the menu a bit hard to navigate. Once I've created a few assignments and get back into it, it's easier, but it could be a bit more intuitive.

What problems is GoReact solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am able to view students teaching in their placements without having to be present, and I am able to provide real time feedback to these students in order to improve their teaching practices.

Good and easy tool to use for assessments.

What do you like best about GoReact?

I like that I can stop the video and Put in comments as the lesson is taught. I also like using our university's standards that can be implemented easily.

What do you dislike about GoReact?

It took a bit to learn all of the things to use, but the contact with GOREACT is swift and valuable.

The benefits of using GoReact will go on, in the long run, doing interviews or presentations in ASL! Worth it and face the tune.

Great practice and see it for yourself. I love the two people dialogue part!

The frustration among us is the internet access which hinders the natural flow.

GoReact, the best time coded video feedback system available

What do you like best about GoReact?

I like the ability to give time-coded feedback to students. It is the only video that lets me give feedback while I see the stimulus the student is responding to while I see their response. Feedback can be given in multimedia formats, text, video, pictures, attachments, etc. I like the ability to add rubrics and badges to streamline feedback. I am really impressed with GoReact's willingness to add new features when requested by their users.

What do you dislike about GoReact?

The pay scale is reasonable for students. However, it is not adaptable to occasional use. I feel the cost is worth it if it is used for multiple assignments and assessments. However, I struggle to justify the cost when I only use it for one or two assessments in a semester. I wish there were an occasional use version for multiple courses in the same semester. If your university or institution buys a site license, then this will not be an issue.

What problems is GoReact solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use GoReact for ASL teaching, ASL Assessment, and ASL Interpreter Training. We have fewer problems using GoReact than we did with solutions based in our local lab. We have enabled students to use ubiquitous technologies to accomplish what we previously were only able to do in the lab. We also simplified the student's workflow, reducing the time required by students to complete the same tasks. GoReact reduced the time by half for some tasks.

What do you like best about GoReact?

This is the fourth school year that I’ve used GoReact. The first three years I used it as a stand alone. This year is the first year I’ve used it in Canvas.

What do you dislike about GoReact?

Recommendations to others considering GoReact?

The best part of GoReact is the number of options it gives my speech students to record and upload their speeches into Canvas. Other recording platforms restrict the student to using their laptop or desktop only, and get best results while sitting down only. Many students use their smartphones to record and can easily upload their speeches into Canvas. GoReact functionality allows students to record themselves from head to toe while not losing any audio or video quality.

User friendly feedback platform

What do you like best about GoReact?

Ability to provide specific and detailed feedback time coded to points in students' videos. Use of personalised marker sets for quick feedback.

What do you dislike about GoReact?

Really nothing I can think of. It is the first tool of its kind I have used and I found it extremely easy to use.

No specific problems I can think of but the company introduces regular updates and improvements and provides information on these.

Great tool for teaching American Sign Language

What do you like best about GoReact?

The best feature is the ability to give feedback on assignments in text or video form that is time-coded to the work that was submitted. This allows students to see the feedback or correction at the moment the mistake is made in their assignment. It also allows me to grade and provide feedback that is more complete. If I were to grade in-person in real-time, important things can be missed. Students can also view the feedback more than once -- a feature not available when giving feedback in class.

Recommendations to others considering GoReact?

The system is also relatively easy to use on both the instructor and student sides. I was the only faculty member in my department using GoReact when the pandemic hit and classes moved to remote delivery. I was able to quickly teach my sign language faculty how to connect their Canvas courses with GoReact, set up assignment, and record feedback. We connect our Canvas courses with GoReact so students only need to use one platform to submit their assignments. The grades I give them automatically populate to Canvas which is very convenient.

What problems is GoReact solving and how is that benefiting you?

There isn't much to dislike about this product. GoReact was really good when they started, and they've only continued to improve.
